Is April 21 - 28 usually a very crowded time? I thought spring breaks were done by then. I'd love to hear your comments...thanx! :coffee:

I think spring breaks are just finishing up. We are going 4/26-5/5 and from what I have been told it will be fine. The Crowd Calendar on touring plans . com says it will be 5 and 6 out of 10.:goodvibes

yeah i heard the same and also thought that spring breaks are usually week before and week after easter. So I hope its true. We will be there Apr. 20-28

Well I am going april 25th - May 2nd so look out here we come....
I already put an order in for smaller crowds...

I'm also heading down the same sorta time. If you havn't already, make sure to check the park schedules -- the Magic Kingdom is having some sort of "Senior Nites" Friday (27th) and Saturday (28th) I think, with early park closings. -Ned

see you at WDW!
Im arriving this Fri the 20th through next Fri the 27th

Well a Party of 3 will be arriving and visiting Disney during that week as well!!!
i see the "early" closing times :( that really stinks!!!!!!!! :( I am dissapointed that the parks close at 7!

Hey thanks Ned....I did check that out before planning the days. Stay away from MK.....Its Grad Night....aaaaarrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhh!!!! Can you imagine the teenie bobbers everywhere.....oh my.....

The crowds....the crowds.....

Book a nice dinner those 2 nights and everybody will be fine.

I believe they only close the MK so all other parks will be open...with some more than likely have EMH also on offer...so may just have to alter the plans and just change parks for that weekend! :)

We will be there the 20th - 30th! :yay:

I saw where they are having 2 showings of Illuminations on the 20th & the 27th - at 9:00 and 11:30 pm.

We've never been at this time of year so can't say for sure, but I'm hoping for not too bad crowds.

That's the week of our Spring Break, and we will be there this Saturday!!! We were there the same week last year and crowds were very manageable. Unfortunately, next year, they are cutting out our Winter Break, so Spring Break will be in March with everyone else. We will have to figure out another "good" time to go.

ill be there the 21st to the 28th! i have planned to go to MK on the 22nd so im not worrying about senior nite. Anyone decorating your room windows??

I am glad to see that the crowds should be ok. We will arrive in at the Fort on Wednesday afternoon. :cool1:

My wife and I have been going to WDW every year since we were married. We do it in celebration of our anniversary, which is the last week in April.

Crowds are unbelievably light during this time of year. We have, literally, done every major ride in MK before noon several times. If you get there within a few minutes of park opening, there will be absolutely NO lines to get on anything. Last year, we rode POTC, Big Thunder Mtn, Small World, and Space Mtn without a single second of wait time, all before we went to breakfast.

Here's a hint we learned at Soarin' and then noticed all rides were like this. There is a minimum wait time they will leave on the FastPass rides of usually 30 minutes. If you don't see a line, ignore that and walk on in. It may very well be that the wait is below 30 minutes, and a FP would hurt more than help. When Soarin' said 30 minute wait times, we walked up to the second or third place in line. POTC showed 25 minute wait times, and there, literally, wasn't a soul in line ahead of us. That's a weird feeling, too.

We're going the same time period, 19th - 22nd .. hoping the crowds are average, or even slightly crowded .. but all the hotels seem to be sold out for our time period, ah well .. heres to hoping for decent crowds!

I noticed that the hotels were unavailable during that time also. Could they be rehabbing them during that time??

my school always goes to grad night, but so do a lot of other people! and it's not like they're just going for that one event and then going home....most schools go to multiple places. i remember the day we went to typhoon lagoon was really crowded....so was the day we went to US/IOA. of course, there are a TON of things to do in Orlando, but i wouldn't be surprised to see a bunch of high school seniors (who, at the moment, think they own the world) running around.....

Not all spring breaks are over, my son's school district is out that week - April 23 to April 27.
