Oh yeah, we'll have to get pictures of the girls and their Shirley Temples!!!Awwww, Amy, that's so sweet! I think the Emily's will get along just fine. I showed Emily the photo you posted with the Shirley Temple in it. She says "ooooh, I want one of those!" Those waiters better be ready!![]()
Ok, I have watched AI and have to agree with you. Phil and Jordin were the BEST!!! Phil was in his element with the country this week!!!Well, let's see - my Idol recap: Phil & Jordin were the best. Melinda great as usual, but I am really surprised by Phil this week. Poor Sanjaya. Mark came in, saw the end where he was standing there, and he said "What in the world is that?!!?"![]()
So thanks to the DVR, I backed it up so he could see that performance. Mark said "That boy needs to go to the house."

Taylor voted for Jordin and Blake.

I'm a slow scrapper, AND, like you, I haven't scrapped in a while. Things have just been too busy around here (plus I need to organize my desk
).
Thankfully it's finally fixed, and stayed on all night, so we're good to go I hope. I was able to get the door signs printed & laminated last night while Idol was on, so that's done. Woo hoo! We just have a few more things to throw in the luggage after we use them on Friday morning, and we'll be set. I still have that nagging feeling I'm forgetting something, but after all the lists I've made, if I have it's probably not important anyway. I always have "that" feeling, no matter where we travel, then it all turns out just fine.
You know, I got a prescription for Xanex. The doctor gave me 10 tablets and they are Very Helpful for plane rides! When you add a glass of wine, there could be a nuclear explosion and I would be a-okay with it
We are flying out tonight and my anxiety is already kicking in. It never bothered me to fly. I have taken 12 hour flights alone and then those mid forties hormonal changes kicked in.
I will be taking something also. We are flying with friends and they suggested some wine too. I told them that I didn't want to pull an Anna Nicole on the flight.
(slurring, and dazed). Thank you Corryn for making me laugh with this quote. We are flying out tonight and my anxiety is already kicking in. It never bothered me to fly. I have taken 12 hour flights alone and then those mid forties hormonal changes kicked in.

We leave in 52 hours. Had to take DS5 to the doctor yesterday. He was running a fever. Told the doc to give him something strong to kill this thing quick. Turns out he gave us an antibiotic that you are supposed to stay out of the sun with. Got to call him back today and get something different. We are not dealing with a kid on a 7 day cruise who can't play in the pool.
He is feeling much better this morning already.
Try to work, and keep writing down things I can't forget to do. I've had that stomach flutter all morning long, and I really feel like that kid in the commerical now "I'm too excited to sleep!" only mine is "I'm too excited to work"

I'm counting down the hours till I leave work at 3pm today.
The time is going soooo slow. My stomach is fluttering too!! I just have to get through today and get some sleep tonight (yah right) and we will be on our way.Oh my gosh, I feel exactly the same way.I'm counting down the hours till I leave work at 3pm today.

I know I'll be even worse tomorrow, finishing up work, thinking that will be my last day for a few days. Emily knows we're leaving in just two days, and this morning she said "When it's time for vacation & you come wake me up, I'm going to jump up & down on my bed and then get dressed to go"
That's my girl!
Preston and I figured it would be a good way to get them out of the house to get everything loaded and ready to go. that and the fact they are missing 5 days next week!
Justin and I were talking in bed last night, and he said the exact same thing! Usually I'm the one to say it about anything exciting coming up soon (and this trip is by far the MOST exciting thing we've done in the last 10 years!), but I was giddy hearing him say it, too!"I'm too excited to sleep!"

ok, you girls talking about having a hard time working..............you are almost making me feel guilty but not quite. we are sending the girls to school on Friday, picking up Paige about 2 hours early and Taylor just misses her last class (taylor starts 90 mins earlier than paige) ---- how much do you think they'll learn on friday!Preston and I figured it would be a good way to get them out of the house to get everything loaded and ready to go. that and the fact they are missing 5 days next week!
I figure we can get our last minute stuff all rounded up, put everything in the Suburban, and leave town as soon as they're out of school!
Nope, no rain in the forecast for the west coast of FL. I think that there's a chance of some sprinkles tomorrow, but nothing major!!Amy, will it be raining in Florida tonight?
Chris mentioned last night that his throat was getting scratchy and this morning he was a little stuffy!! I told him that he needs to get some rest and GET BETTER QUICK!!!We leave in 52 hours. Madison doesn't have school on Friday (she only goes Tues/Thurs), but Emily does have school. However, she's leaving right after a Father's Breakfast that they're having that morning. I figure that I can get some last minute stuff done at home while Chris and Emily are at the school.ok, you girls talking about having a hard time working..............you are almost making me feel guilty but not quite. we are sending the girls to school on Friday, picking up Paige about 2 hours early and Taylor just misses her last class (taylor starts 90 mins earlier than paige) ---- how much do you think they'll learn on friday!Preston and I figured it would be a good way to get them out of the house to get everything loaded and ready to go. that and the fact they are missing 5 days next week!
YIPPEE!!!Anyway, I just got a call from FedEx. They'll be delivering two packages (PASSPORTS!) in just a couple minutes!![]()

Better get some Airborne! Over the past couple of weeks we've tried to stay healthy. I bought this sinus rinse made by Neilmed, knowing my allergies would be going haywire with everything blooming out around here. I've done that rinse every day for the past two weeks, and I've taken zero allergy meds, and have no headaches. Weird huh? Guess it washes out some of the stuff that makes you feel bad. Those kits will be headed with us on the cruise too, just in case we start feeling congested. See, told you guys I'm packing half a medicine cabinet.
