Hello all! I know, I know…I am crazy to be planning this far in advance! We have been going to Orlando for the past few years during April vacation. We've been lucky in that Easter has been really early and we our school break has been a week or two after so while it's been crowded, it hasn't been "Easter Crowded." Well, in 2017 our luck is running out. Our April break is the week before Easter and school starts again the Monday after. So if we want to continue our April tradition, we will have to suck it up and go during one of the most busy times.
We were thinking of doing a WDW/UO split. We did this this year and had a great time. We did UO first and then moved to WDW. I'm thinking that if we are going right before Easter, maybe we should hit WDW first and then UO since maybe the crowds build during that week and if we went at the end then we'd at least have the Express Pass (we would stay on site). Is this reasonable?
Also, I know a couple new things are coming in 2017; the new water park, Jimmy Fallon, etc. What are the chances these new attractions will be open by April?
Anyone think I'm crazy for even considering going at this time of year? Any other strategies? Thanks!
