So jealous of all your trips! We're AP holders but I think we are only going to get 2 trips out of this AP. We are still looking at possibly a 3rd trip in late Aug/early Sept but to be honest, between the terrible exchange rate and the politics down there we are not all that hopeful. We had already decided that after 2017 we were going to give Disneyland a break until Star wars land opens and instead we were looking at WDW for 2018 but now we are rethinking that plan.

We said that last year too, but here we are with passes again. :) We are in Northern California, and we can fly cheap with Southwest to Long Beach. That is the main reason we bought the passes again.

This will be our last trip for a long time!

Next year is meant to be our no travel year after 2 OS trips this year then we plan to go to Japan in 2019 with a group for the rugby world cup. I want to fly via Hong Kong so we can go to both HK and Tokyo Disney! :D

Next year is our 10th wedding anniversary though and we've not done anything to celebrate before now, not even dinner! (DH used to be in the army and was ALWAYS away then it just became a running thing that we'd do something for our 10th instead.) So I think we will have enough airline and hotel points that we can go somewhere and just need spending money.

Which means we won't be looking at the US again until at least 2020. Perhaps braving WDW but that place just seems crazy!

We're in Victoria, BC on Vancouver Island so flights are always a big expense. I found out recently that my sister in law can fly from Toronto to Anaheim for just about the same cost as for us to fly from Victoria!

Flights: Not booked - I cant get a good price on a flight from Sacramento to LA. Southwest wants $1300 for 4. We went in December and paid $398 for 4. I'm waiting to see if it goes down the closer we get. If all else fails I guess we will drive, but I how I loathe the drive from Sacramento to Anaheim.
We're coming from Roseville and we actually prefer driving! :car:

I've been lurking on this thread for awhile, so I figured it's time to jump in and participate! My DH and I will be going April 4-9th (flying in from PDX on the evening and the 3rd, 5 days in the park, then flying out on Sunday the 9th). The exciting part is my DH doesn't know we are going! It's his 30th birthday and I'm surprising him. I opened a secret account at another bank to save money for the trip, and have been earning extra money through selling things and various odd jobs. My Mom is paying for the plane tickets and the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour for her present for him. I can't wait to surprise him!

What a great surprise!

We will be there April 22-27 for Dapper Days! Staying at the DLH for our first time ever!!!!

I can't wait to get a plate of Mickey Mouse cookies and milk in our room!

Added you to the list as well!

Same question as above, do you have any fun Dapper Day outfits planned?

Not yet...I'm a bit lost in looking at the site listed on The Dapper Days website, Etsy and just random google searches Iv'e been doing! I know that my daughter (6) and I will wear dresses and comfortable shoes, husband is looking at suspenders and bowties...he has the kind of hair that he can style very well so no hat...and my in-aws are coming too and excited about dressing up. I am just thankful we have some time to put together some outfits still...

We are making the trip to DL from Michigan for our spring break! March 31st to April 5th staying at Hojo. I have been once in 2009 but my hubby and daughters (8 and 5) have never been.

Does anyone know if you can book BBB before the park opens like you can at WDW? I am hoping to book Minnie ' s just trying to decide which day.

Haven't bought our tickets yet. Hoping tickets don't go up in the next 2 weeks before I can buy them.

Super excited!!!

That is such a great age to bring your girls! Our son's first trip was a month after his 6th birthday and it was perfect, no stroller needed!

As far as I know, BBB reservations start after the park opens. The character breakfast at Plaza Inn (Minnie and Friends) reservations start 10 minutes after the park opens, including when it opens early for Magic Morning. Even if you are not eligible to go in for the Magic Morning hour, you can still get a reservation for a time during that hour. (Did that make sense? I find the MM, EMH stuff a bit confusing and we're on our 10th trip!

We are in Lincoln! :earsboy: I have found a flight out of Oakland that is around $600.00 for the 4 of us, much better than $1300, but then I have to drive to Oakland. I'm going to keep waiting.......I am hoping by the end of February the prices on Southwest will dip down.

We love the Oakland airport, it is our go-to airport now. Are you flying to SNA or Long Beach?

I wish SNA was cheap again, but I rarely find good deals with them. Even with the cost of a taxi ride, it is still cheaper to fly into Long Beach.

The Sac to SNA flights just keep going higher. I'm glad I was able to get mine for $76 each way pp. I'd like the $59 much more, but doesn't look like that is happening.

I wonder why SNA is going up so much... I miss SNA! I was able to get a $49 flight home to Oak in March.

We got a decent (not great) price on open jaw flights from SEA - SNA and home from SAN - SEA. Paid a little under $250pp round trip which is more than we payed in Oct 15, but less than we payed in summer of 14. We pretty much only fly Alaska if at all possible. Looked at SW and even JetBlue to LGB, but both either had stops or were more expensive anyway.

Got our park tickets purchased as well. I think they raised prices in Feb. last year so figured I should get them now.

Now just have to figure out picking up a rental car after Disney and where we are staying for a couple nights in San Diego. Anyone picked up a car from Downtown Disney or Harbor area?

Just measured our youngest and she is 48" and super excited to be able to ride California Screamin' on this trip!
