Aye ....I just saw the rack rates for my time period. I must be so used to seeing code rates that I just went into overload when I saw what the hotels are going for.

We booked today for POR from April 7th to 15th.. I am hoping to get out before the Easter Crowds but the crowd levels are not looking good right now.

This is our 3rd trip as a couple and 2nd trip as a family... We went in 2009 and stayed at the CB and loved it. We had the Deluxe Dining Plan and are doing the same again.

I am so excited that we were able to book and can't wait to start using the DisSigners board to start making our 5 year old her Autograph book and shirts....

I think that I am going to try and do a pretrip report this trip and get suggestions on our ADR's and tour plans...

Disney sure knows how to bring out the planner in a person... I love the planning as much as the trip. I don't think my husband feels the same way.

WELCOME!! So exciting to plan for the trip. I agree that is half of the fun.. dining reservations, packing, shopping, tours, etc. Let's hope we can "plan" for a nice discount for us April visitors!!!!

We are looking to go April 14-22nd. I know in year's past that when I call and book I can always call and add a CODE if one comes out.... BUT what about if I book it online? Can you call back over the phone to add a CODE or PIN? Or does the while ressie need to be done over??? THanks in advance

WELCOME! I'm not sure but I think if you book online, you can always call and amend or change your reservation via the phone. As long as you have your reservation number. Someone else might have a more definative answer. Let's hope we get a great discount code!!

I called yesterday and got a AAA discount rate applied to my room. Unfortunately, given my time frame (April 13-21), it could only be applied for 4 of the 8 nights. The last four nights fall under the "Easter Peak" pricing and I'm guessing that it is not eligible for an AAA discount. But for now, it's money saved - just not as much as I would have liked.

Hi all!
My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon to Disney for April 2 - 10 as we're getting married on April 1. This is the longest trip we've ever taken, by two days, yay! We were really hoping to stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge but not so sure a deluxe resort is in our future unless we get some kind of discount.
I'm so excited to start planning though! Our last trip was two years ago and we're itching to get back. I think picking all our dining reservations will be the tough part as we have so many favorite places now!
Any other pin traders going in April??
Also, we're thinking of booking through Small World Vacations this year. Has anyone else done this? We've never used a travel agent before but they're authorized by Disney, free, and will keep looking for discounts for you. Seems like a pretty good deal...

Correct me if I am wrong, but isnt this time of year the Flower and Garden Festival?

That's right. The Flower and Garden Festival is supposed to run from March 2 to May 15 next year, so DH and I are hoping that in April everything will be in full, beautiful bloom.

Just got our confirmation for 8 days and 7 nights at the Wilderness Lodge Villas using DVC points next April. So excited!!

I think we might change from April to May/June for Free Dining...gonna play with prices vs a room discount we get (interline)

There's five of us so Free Dining might be cheaper in the long run

Do you think there is still hope for a discount or will this be it! We wentthe same time frame in 2009 (leaving the Friday before Good Friday) and we got the buy 4 get 3 free and the gift card deal! I am totally prepared to pay the full price but something would be nice! I would think that the blackout time being from march 3rd - may 27th we will see something for that time!

I looked this morning too! And NO April dates were applicable to any of the offers. I'm hoping that a general room discount or AP rates come out for April! Something, please... LOL
