I didn't mention either code specifically when I spoke to the CM today. I just asked if the new discount would apply to my package

if your stay starts during that time frame but extends a few nights past, do you only get the discount for the nights that are actually in that time frame? or do you get the discount for the remaining days?

I just saw on mousesavers.com that WDW has discounts on dates thru 4/16! I just got off the phone with reservations and got a sweet deal! I'll be updating my PTR tonight with the change I made, but I had to jump on the boards now to share this with you guys! I hope this helps!

Thanks so much for sharing! I saw this and went right to the website to see if they would apply to us and it does!!! 20% off Animal Kingdom Lodge April 2 - 10 for our honeymoon! The lady who helped us wasn't familiar with the promotion and had to do a little digging but was extremely friendly, accommodating, and patient. We saved $853.82!!!

Correct, you only get the discount for the nights that are in the time frame. I had 5 days past the time frame, so I used a AAA discount for those days, on a separate reservation.

I took advantage of the public offer that's out right now, since I don't think they are ever going to send me another pin!! LOL!! Now to somehow figure out how to make the next 4 months go by faster...

ETA: Decided to stay at the Wilderness Lodge!!

I ended up booking today using the AP rate. I compared the pin, the GP, and the AP. For our time period (April 1-8) and our resort (POFQ), the AP rate is the best. It's coming out to $1168, I believe. The only room available was a king, but I'll keep trying to switch to a standard. I'm okay with the rate, and I'm very happy to be at POFQ!

You should really call now to get your dates. Then when the rates come out you will all ready have your room and just change it to the AP rates. When we had AP I would do this so I could get the dates that I wanted. Good luck.

I have a family of 6 (my little one will just be 1 in March though, so really 5) and my older 3 are in school, so we're locked into the week of april 23- may 1. I'm a little worried because I'm paying for the trip with my tax return.. which won't get to me until probably feb. Is that impossible? To book that late & find room (especially where I'm limited as to where I can stay & I have a budget of about $4000.

I would really rather not stay off site. I've only been once in 1999, but I LOVED the convenience of being right there.

Can it be done you think?

HI and Welcome! I would suggest booking room only for the dates you want, that way you only have to pay for one night's deposit now. Then when you get your tax return, pay for the room in full and add tickets on and pay for them as well!! ENJOY!!

Has anyone here ever done Universal Studios in the same trip? My older two are 15 & 16 & my boyfriend is pretty adamant about doing a couple days there. I'm trying to figure the best way to work that out. Stay on Disney property still & just shuttle back & forth? Or end Disney on like a Wednesday/Thursday & do Universal the rest of the time?

I keep hearing horror stories about April/Spring Break/Easter crowds. Is it really that bad?
