Add me in, and thanks! I'll be checking in solo with my service dog, Skye at VGCH on April 21st. Checking out on April 27th to do the 6-Night Disney Wonder cruise. I have several friends who'll be arriving a few days later than me, some at the Marriott and others also at VGCH. I'm so excited- haven't been to DL since my youngest was 7, and he's 24 now! I'd love to join in on a dis-meet if others are gathering somewhere.---Kathy

We're doing the repo cruise after our Disneyland visit as well. Are you on the repo cruise meet thread?

Heck no! I say, do it I'm a total packing-nut. Given the time I'll spend weeks and weeks on packing. It just makes everything seem more real!

So happy to have found ths board and I've been lurking for quite some time! Myself, DH and our 2 DD's (7 and 1) are driving from Grande Prairie, AB to Disneyland - it's a 30-hour drive, so we hope to make it there by April 23rd, and stay until May 2nd or 3rd. We have reservations for the Desert Inn. I am so excited that I am already losing sleep, but am a little worried about driving that long with a 1-year-old. This will be our 4th trip to DL (but our first driving there) and we can't wait!!!!!

Got you up! That's a very long time in between Disneyland trips. So much has changed! I hope you love it and have a great time on the cruise as well.

I'm going too! My 16 year old twin nephews are performing in the parade at Disneyland with their high school! My husband is keeping my little ones here in Georgia and I am flying out to hang out with my Mom and my brother and sister-in-law. I will be there 4/7-4/10 and am using points to stay at the Anaheim Hilton. We are veterans of both Disneyland and Disney World, but there is nothing like coming home to the original park!

Me too. I subscribed to Ridemax. I'm hoping I can get my family started early in the morning.

Any of you ever used Ridemax?

I really hope 3 days is enough to hit all the big stuff and have some downtime to relax. Our kids don't care about the parades and things so I have planned to see Aladdin and we are getting the WOC picnic. If we can't see the show too well, whatever we'll find something else to do.

Hi all! I'll be going to Disneyland in just a couple of weeks (12 days to be exact!) and I'm a first timer. I've been to Disney World many times but I'm a DL newb! I'll be on an AEP and staying at the Paradise Pier hotel from 4/7-4/10 and I added an extra night on at the Apline Inn for 4/10-4/11. I'm so excited!!!

Very excited! It is finally down to 26 days to when we leave! The grandkids made a countdown chain last night and they are extremely excited. The youngest 4 have never been.
Preparations on the agenda for this week include some dinner reservations. The "guys" have decided they want to go to the mid evil dinner theater. My husband and son did this together years ago and they loved it. My husband decided he wants to take his son in law and grandsons as well as our son. I am sure they will have a great time! Meanwhile the princesses will be stopping into the grotto for a visit.
We have finally decided which day we will be going into DCA. Now I need to scratch out a rough schedule. We have decided we must see Dis Jr. aladdin, the parade and hopefully WOC. That is a tough schedule of shows plus fitting in the must not miss rides while there.

I'm a dork and when we planned this I thought EVERYONE had their Spring Breaks in March. Now wishing I had planned a different time. I'm pulling my kids out of school for a week for this because I wanted to go when the rest of the world wasn't. Obviously I'm an newbie!

Just hoping with the info I've learned here that we'll get to do a lot. My girls are still young (5 and 8) so I'm just mostly worried about them getting antsy in lines more than anything.

I downloaded the Disneyland Lines app on my phone, so hoping that those are pretty acurate. I've been watching it at various times this week trying to get a feel for what rides are more popular at what times etc..

I'm getting SO excited!!!

I read about it being CA's Spring Break too. I'm hoping the crowds are TOO crazy. I want to be able to experience the rides & shows they don't have in WDW. Here's hoping for manageable crowds!

I'm already packing, but not completely done, I have to wait until I do laundry a little later this week. The kids haven't started yet but they are doing laundry today and tomorrow so I'm sure they will be packing as they are doing laundry.

Welcome!!! I hope you have a GREAT first visit, make sure you get your first visit buttons from City Hall (or your hotel should have them as well) and bring your LGMH so you can spot other Disers!! I'll have mine.

we're probably heading down 4/10-4/14 for our last trip to DLR in the foreseeable future...it's not definite yet, but we're pretty sure we're going
