April 2008 TR

Ooh hotel looks nice, as always! You always get the good ones!!! :rotfl:
I think my preliminary view on BpB are the same as yours, or were until you saw it (!), I thought it was going to be much more involved with the crowd, and I've heard reports where it was, maybe you had an off day?!
Oh and I'm definately going to catch one of those balls now, free souvenir from WDW, yes please!! :thumbsup2

I think my kids would enjoy the block party - thanks for the pics! :thumbsup2
Your room looks gorgeous and so is the view from your balcony...Did you get to see the EWP from your room?...Can't wait to read more :goodvibes

Concierge food looks good.
When I saw your picture, I though "Oh, Emma cut her hair" Funny the things you notice.

Wonderful update!!

I too noticed your hair being shorter - it looks soooo healthy too! Maybe one day I will try a hair wrap too :) (in your honor)

You know, it has probably been since college that I have seen Spectro (but I think it was the Electric Lights Parade back then, right?) And I have never seen Wishes! BUT...for our proposed trip in February, I am not leaving WDW until I see it...not matter what!

Another great update. The food looked great, and there is no place more magical than MK at night. Thanks for sharing!

It is a VERY good thing I have already eaten breakfast today!

Great update - love your pics!

aww you made me hungry all over again! Darn!
Still none the less another awesome chapter and another thing for me to discover at WDW when I go back, I will definately go looking for that 'bridge that you never knew was a bridge' when I go and see if I knew it was a bridge!
:rotfl: try and make that make sense in your head!!!!

FYI. I just checked the wedding boards. It looks like the bride wasn't a DIS bride (at least not active). One girl got married on 4/10, but her ceremony was at the yacht club. No one listed for 4/9.

I'm said that there are no DIS brides getting married while I'm there :(

Hmmm, I should not have read about your yummy dinner at lunch time! Now, I'm really hungry! hehe

Sounds like a perfect night at MK! So cool!

Can't wait for more!

Awesome chapter! That food looks really good, I miss the WL :) but i switched my ressies to AKL!! I know i'll be happy there, i'm so excited!

How can you find this out :confused3 Just curious.

Beautiful updates as usual! Can't wait to hear how the last day went. They are always soooo depressing, especially if you don't really know when you will return. Any upcoming trips planned, yet:thumbsup2

Pretty! Do you have a close-up of the hair wrap (or any of the hair wraps you've done in the past)? You're REALLY making yellow look AMAZING! I used to always go for the dark colors, like black. Then I got into pink. Though I still love pink, I want to branch out into brighter colors. The yellow shirts that I have are much lighter, but that shirt of yours as well as the accessories are so eye popping. Love it!

Yummy! That food looked great! The sauce for the stroganoff looked like it had the perfect consistency. And that cobbler looks so fresh! MmMmM!

On the wedding boards, there is a sticky that lists the DIS brides and Disneymooners and their dates. I frequent those boards even though I am lacking the all important ring.:rotfl:

Hi Emma!

I have a very silly question: ;)

How did you save all your hair wraps? Did you have to cut the hair along with it? Or did they come off all in one piece without the hair?

The reason I ask is that now you make me want to have it done at the Poly (I have long hair) and it would be nice to save it like you have. :)

Thanks for all the wonderful updates. I am enjoying your TR tremendously -- its always the first one I search for when I'm on the DIS! :thumbsup2

P.S. Your post about Chef Mickey's inspired me to change our dinner ressie to 5:05 p.m.-- to be one of the first ones there! :) I was going for a later time, but when I thought about it, it makes sense to come early to get "fresh" entrees as you said :)
