April 2008 TR

I actually didn't realize it was only 5 days until your trip....How exciting is that???? You are going to love the ME. There is just something about getting on there and everyone is soooo excited b/c you are just getting there and everything is ABOUT to happen.
Unfortunately, I still can't see the pics (Including the smaller one you tried. I can see pics in the avatar's though.). I posted a note in Tech Support, so hopefully someone will figure something out.

:goodvibes Hi Emma! Sooo glad you had time for a quick update! I didn't realize you were leaving so soon:woohoo: The Disney outfits look just fabulous. Say, will you do a 'live' trip report from Disney? Don't know if it is 'doable' with your plans....would definitely be so much fun! Can't wait to hear more! Have a fantabulous disney trip! (wish you can pack me up in your suitcase, too :lmao: !)

BTW, Emma have you considered doing the WDW college program?

Pretty blue clutch/wristlet (what would you call this type of purse?) for in the parks…hopefully it’ll be harder to lose than a Vera Bradley wallet!

Is that COACH? I heart me some COACH. Regardless, I love the color.

It's almost time!!! I'm envious. Can I stow away in Sunrise's carry-on?

Hi! I am lovin' your pre-trippie, and am in the process of reading your completed TR's :) Your buffalo is soooo cute! (because of Sunrise, I am going to see if I can get buffalo webkins for my sons who are crazy over webkins :thumbsup2 )

I confess, I am a snob too. A purse snob, that is ;) My username says it all -- I love Chanel. However, since I also :lovestruc Disney, I am slowing down on Chanel-collecting. Disney and Chanel are very pricey pursuits, and I am not a wealthy snob -- just a comfortable one :rotfl:

Write on, AGPrincess....thanks for letting us share in your journey :goodvibes

Congrats on being so close to visiting the magic! :wizard:

And, I think those Cinderella toys would make an excellent fashion statement, actually.:rotfl:

I hold Aristotle responsible for my dropping intro to political though my first semster of college.
I was going to tell you to wear your princess nails to class anyway, but do you really want advice from a girl who took class notes with a sparkly and fluffy Belle pen.
Bon Voyage!

Have a great time Princess!!! I'll be anxiously awaiting your report when you return.

Have a FANTABULOUS trip Emma! Can't wait to hear your trippie and hold on to your stuff, you know wallet, ipod, etc! lol.and pls say HI to Mickey for me;)Safe travels!

Ohhh!! Coach pebbled leather is to die for!!! I'm sure the wristlet will be perfect for the parks. Much more rational than the big 'ole Coach tote I took with me after promising my parents I wouldn't use it!

We’re getting ReeeEEEEally close here people!! :woohoo: Less than two days now! I have no idea how I’m going to get through tomorrow…I’ll probably pay attention in none of my classes! :rolleyes1

At least most of my work is done! I have finished all of my reading (no small feat, considering I’m taking two seminars!) AND written my five-page paper.

The paper was about Plato and Aristotle and math. Apparently Plato thought math always existed in the world and Aristotle was like “DUDE. That is so wrong. It’s we people that put math into the world and apply it to stuff.” (wouldn’t it be funny if Aristotle had written like that? It probably would make him a lot easier to read too…;) )

ANYway, I myself am inclined to side with old Plato. Or as my teacher, with a heavy Italian accent, says: PLAHto. I mean, seriously Aristotle. Are you telling me that I am somehow “putting into the world” the two days that stand between me and Disney World? Because after all, counting down is math, but if I’m putting that math into the world, I would think I would make it more like two HOURS rather than two days. And the four classes I’ve got tomorrow. If I was “applying” that number four to the world, I would make it one not four.

Sorry Aristotle. I’m not buying it. :confused3

FYI, that’s not what I wrote in my paper. And if you don’t understand it, don’t worry ‘cause I’m not sure I do either. And I’m going to get graded on it. Great.

But the paper IS written and that is what really matters and no matter what Aristotle says, he can’t deny that this time two days from now I will most likely be waiting for Wishes to start!! :cool1:

Schoolwork aside, my packing and other preparations are fairly finished.

013.jpg

My toes are white. (I always paint my nails white before a Disney trip, it's just my thing)

014-1.jpg

My fingernails too (I’m waiting to put the princess nails on though b/c 1. If I wore princess nails to class tomorrow no one would take me seriously, and 2. (which is really the more important reason) They might break.)

012.jpg

Today I rode over to the grocery store and got a few more Ratatouille toys for Dart and Athos…I think I’m probably more excited about their surprise than they’re going to be! I got the three figurines I was missing (Emile, the snotty French girl (Collette??), and Remy with a spoon) with only three tries! WOOO!

RemyNote.jpg

I also made up a little letter for Athos to get from “Remy” explaining the surprises (I decided I didn’t have time to think up clues, so I’ll probably just hide them where he’ll find them right away.)

Hmmmm…what else? I’ve been watching princess movies to get in a Disney mood. princess: I watched The Little Mermaid last week, Cinderella while straightening my hair last night (we’ll see how long it (my hair, not Cinderella) lasts in the Florida heat…although the forecast is calling for thunderstorms this week! :scared: ), AND (I saved the best for last) Beauty and the Beast I have been watching tonight!

017-1.jpg

My bags are packed…I’m checking the big pink one…hopefully it’ll be easy for the ME people to spot. I’ve got all my pretty new clothes/accessories, my Jasmine crown, a copy of Northanger Abbey/Lady Susan (gotta have my Jane Austen!), the Remy toys, a blank notebook, my Disney diary, pins and pennies, the ME booklet, chargers, camera, etc. I really don’t think I’m forgetting anything…I’ve got the iPod loaded too with plenty of Disney music…

and of course Sunrise is ready to hop in my bag and hit the road (or rather air!). I can't wait!!!

Looks like you got all the packing and (most of - how can professors honestly expect you to do homework at a time like this?!) assignments done!

I hope you have a WONDERFUL trip and I cannot WAIT to hear what you thought about the Lodge and all of your (and Sunrise's) adventures!

Have fun! Take lots of pictures...We are eagerly waiting to read all about your trip! :thumbsup2

I think I missed the goodbye! Just found your TR today, and finished reading tonight. Have a great trip, I love WL, and I know you and Sunrise will too.:rotfl:

Come on, the picture of Sunrise on the DIS, that is so funny. I really enjoy your reports, and am sure that I am not the only one who will miss the AG dolls. Loved all your pre trip pictures. :surfweb:
