Hi there gang.

I am almost bordering on the insane, and really need to book again even though we are due our 3rd (and last) child in April 03. I was wondering, if it is possible to book for April 2004 at the moment with anyone? and has anyone found good rates for the cabins at WDW. I have just had a look on the Virgin site, do people really pay 7 grand for a 3 week holiday (plus spending of course) 2 adults, 2 kids under 7 and 1 infant. Any suggestions where to book

Thanks in advance

Have you considered a villa .With the children it may be less fraught and a lot of owners will book that far ahead .Flights may be a different matter ,although I know of one person that has booked his flights for xmas 2003 back in May -I think he knows someone who knows someone if you get my drift most airlines do not release seats until 11 months ahead although Virgin and BA may

Steve Im checking on brochures weekly and the only one that goes up to april 2004 (That I know about!!) is The Tradewinds book thats out now but apparently most will come out Nov/Dec.Anyone else know anything?!

If you are looking to book a fly-drive for April 2004 then I would keep an eye on the Virgin holidays website - www.virginiholidays.co.uk - they tend to release their fly-drives to Orlando in blocks of dates.
We have been booked for both April and December 2003 since early 2002 and I'm keeping a watch for 2004 dates to be added. BA will release their fly-drives at about the same time.
For flight-only you have to wait until 11 months before departure - there is an air traffic regulation restricting sales to within this window.
It sounds like a villa would really suit you - lots more space, your own pool - and you will be surprised what good value it is even at peak season.

Hi Angela,Is this 11 month window for flight only and NOT packages Ive never heard of this

Ian,

The 11 month window is for flight only bookings. If you are wanting to book for Easter time and you want BA or Virgin flights you will have great trouble getting availability if you wait to book flight only. The Virgin brochure covering the following year is out around April, May the year before,it used to be June I think but it keeps coming out a bit earlier it seems!

If the dates you want you cannot be flexible on,and they are around Easter time, you can pre-register your booking with Virgin,I did this once.I had to pay the full deposit, but it means I think the pre-booked holidays would be loaded on before the availability is released.

I have three children and for my first trip I priced up the FW cabins and had a massive shock! I have stayed in hotels and apartments in Orlando then last year and this in a villa. As has been suggested to you,you would absolutely love the freedom and flexibilty of a villa, you should seriously consider this,I wish I had done it much sooner.
