:earseek: I could have sworn they dcl said they had not been printed yet...

Doing the document dance!! My husband thinks I'm nuts to get so excited over a few pieces of paper. I told him we've been waiting 18 LONG months for this and I CAN'T WAIT!!! :goodvibes

Welcome minniemouse1! The latest rollcall is on page 30 in case you'd like to see if any kids match up in age with yours.

I must be the last one in our group getting my tickets. I contacted my TA today and he has not received them from DCL yet. :confused3 I hope they get there soon!

Maybe you got an upgrade ;) Keep your finger crossed :)

::sigh:: watching beach week on travel channel...and we have fresh snow on the ground. I'm tired of snow...

21 days and counting !

We're actually going a couple of days early so only 17 days for us!

Just to make things interesting my DH bought my oldest son a reg. black lab puppy. So now along with getting the yard cleaned up for spring -we're housebreaking the pup. My one condition was that he find a good puppy sitter for while we are gone - which he did.

She's a real cutie and very smart! Only problem is that she is beginning to think she should be a lap dog - which is fine now but may not be in a few months!

Wouldn't that be a pleasant surprise to be upgraded! I didn't even think about the possibility. Well, I'm happy with where we are booked even if it doesn't happen. I just hope they get here this week.

I saw that The Pacifier is playing on ship. My kids and I wanted to go see the movie but I'm making them wait just in case we have a chance to see it onboard. We saw Robots yesterday. That was a great movie. My kids have been quoting it every since.

Well, plan to do a bit more shopping today. Cleaned out a lot of clothes from my DD12's closet yesterday. All of a sudden she is now as tall as I am if not just a tad more.

Less than 3 weeks!!!

We went to see Robots also and have been holding off on seeing Pacifier just in case it's playing while we are on board. It looks like a great movie!

Okay the room I am sitting in is currently a disaster. Two suitcases sitting open..another bag for the week after the cruise with a couple things thrown in. Uggh. Just finished washing and ironing up the shorts and jean capri's I pulled out of storage. Only have two sundays now to finish this stuff up :( Saturdays are tied up with hair appt and car tuneup. Hopefully get everything else drug out, washed in iron before I leave. If I had the money I would just buy as I went...sometimes it seems easier ;) Yep leaving a few days early too. 16 days for me. Actually made a reservation in TN where I expect to stop the first night but made two holds in about 60 mile incraments down the road further. Trying not to hit Atlanta to early on the second day! But would like to get as far as physically possible on day one. I'm exhausted just packing for me...feel sorry for you guys with the kiddos too young to pack there own clothes .

Greylady- fingers crossed for you :) Think happy upgrade thoughts :)

We are planning on seeing Pacifer on the ship also and maybe some others. I think the free movies are a nice perk. Taking the group out for the movies can be an expensive project on land.

Brother Bear premiered at midnight on the last night of our first diseny cruise and it was pretty cool to have the bragging rights of being the first people anywhere to see it. Of course I volunteered to babysit with my little niece so the others could go and didn't actually see it.

Our oldest black lab mix, who is our oldest child and was adopted as an 8 week old at the humane society the morning his whole litter was brought in, is now 11, gray chinned, and takes arthritis medication daily. He gets so bummed out when he sees suitcases, so we actually don't pack too far in advance. Hard to leave him--he has slept in our bed since he left his crate. He wasn't 96 pounds when we started that habit! Our second oldest child is our second black lab mix, about 6 months younger, who #1 pup considers as his dog. Third child is two-legged DS, whose 9th b'day is today, and who hosted 9 other friends in a sleepover last night. Now I really need a vacation!

My TA called to let me know he's got my tickets and will mail them tomorrow to me. I should have them by the end of the week. I didn't ask to see if we got an upgrade - I figured he would have told us if we did. I'll just have to wait until Friday to see. Whew!

We're still getting settled into our new home. I just wanted you all to know we'll be thinking of you April 2nd, and 3rd, and 4th, and......! Sorry we're missing the cruise, but postponing was the right choice for us. Have a wonderful, MAGICal time. I want to read trip reports after your return! Bon Voyage!

Laura

You're so sweet Laura. I hope you are enjoying your new house. We hope to move next year and I know I couldn't pull of cruise planning at the same time. Will definately post a trip report. Take care...

Well, Now I can do the doc dance.... "I got my docccs, I got my docccs, I got my docccs, I got my docccs, I got my docccs, I got my docccs"

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I received my docs today after a trying day at work...So, that made my evening. I will be in room 6648...Anyone familiar with this room? My mother and step father will be in room 6528...Any comments on either room will be helpful.

On another note, I was just told that I have to go on a business trip to Dallas....March 28-April 1st..I will be back less then a day, before flying out on the 2nd for the cruise....I KNOW I AM GOING TO FORGET EVERYTHING!!!!

My husband is freaking, kids are freaking, Im freaking.....I need more time................

How can I concentrate on meetings that week? There is NOoooooooooo way.....I am going to be a lunatic.....

Heather, I feel your pain.

Our office works every other Saturday and , of course the next scheduled Saturday is Easter weekend - - which is the last time I will be home before the cruise and am having extended family for the holiday meal and have to finish all packing and get everything loaded into car to drag to Chicago with me for the week since I will be flying out of Chicago and not from home.

Flying out of Chicago is a compromise with work - I insisted I had to have extra vacation time to get to FL day ahead of cruise because I do not have the nerves for a same day flight schedule. I did get extra day but will have to leave from office in Chicago instead of home base in Michigan.

And, office finally broke down and got me an apartment gig instead of weekly hotel bookings (which I had been doing for more than 2 years). So am in the process of setting up a second home. I sure am going to miss my frequent guest perks; not to mention the loss of the daily maid service. This week I had to clean my own bathroom :sad2: and every day I make my own bed. Benefit, I am able to cook my own food - - believe it or not, eating out every day gets to be a drag. Particularly when you are trying to stay within the per diem expense account budget.

I have the in laws here until the weekend before the cruise. Luckily I only work 3 days a week and I'm not working the Friday before the cruise so that we can leave so I should have time for all the last minute stuff. It's not ideal, but I can deal with it. Can't believe we are almost at the two week mark. My kids are bouncing off the walls :Pinkbounc

First off ..good luck Heathercat! I couldn't imagine trying to fly in the day of.

I hoping accuweather 15 day forcast is wrong :( Snow?? The day before I drive out...no no no noooooo. May make a contingency plan to leave right after work a day early. What happened to March coming in like a lion and out like a lamb?? :confused3

We have an early flight. I think it gets in around 9am. I'm not worried about that...yet...but I dont want to think about all the Murphys Law disasters I could be encountering......

Let me just focus on my griping mother  ...."We are all the way at the other end of the hall. Across from the elavator. How come we didnt get a room next to yours"....WAH WAH WAH WAH WAH
Yes, Im cruel..... :rotfl2:
