April 19, 2008 - Western - VERY Early Roll Call - Anyone??!!

Got my boarding passes--A21,A22,A23,A24:banana:
The website gave me some problems at first but it finally let me in :scared:
I feel so much better now. Everything is complete. :thumbsup2

not bad...you also have a totally booked flight. Islip is a nice small airport
you'll like it.

I'm still back and forth about bringing ours. I may run by Radio Shack tonight and get the cord for it. On the one hand I want the pictures but on the other hand I'm not sure I want to lug it around all the time.

I'll be twanging right there with you. The more I drink the more southern I'll sound. I guess together we'll be a C&W duo, eh? :rotfl2:

20 hours until I pull outta town (I hope he doesn't ask me to work any longer than that).

we aren't bringing our video camera, my dd and my husband have a digital camera which you can take movies with too. plus since jenny and jim have the same camera (they are both cannon and the size is the same just the speed is different) we also got a case that can fit both cameras and can be put under the water :cool1: we used it last year on our southern caribbean cruise it worked pretty cool and they put it on video too.

denise, are you flying or driving to port canaveral?? If you are driving, how long of a drive??

I think when my dh comes home from work I will put on some jimmy buffett music to set the mood for our cruise vacation and have a corona in hand. taking about beer, i bought these really cool flip flops (they are from a company called reefs) and on the bottom of them they had a metal plate on them when i bought them from bob's stores :confused3 . i couldn't figure out why they would put a metal piece on the bottom of each flip flop, well my dd jenny starts laughing out loud because she read a little ticket that was on the flip flops and said "mom, the metal piece is a bottle opener:eek: how cool is that :thumbsup2 now at the pool when I have my corona i don't need to go to the bar to ask them to open my bottle just use my flip flop :rotfl:

We're driving. I think it's going to take about 5 or 5.5 hours. It takes about 4 to get to Orlando from here and I believe PC is about an hour east of there (only driven Orlando to PC once).

Cool about the flops! I need to get a pair like that!!!

bye everyone we will see you on the ship and maybe some at the hotel today got to pick up my kids at school now:thumbsup2

Have a Magic time!

we're back and we're hooked.- DH re-booked on day 3

We all had such a fabulous time and much of that was from meeting and seeing everyone on the ship throughout our journey.

But we had a great time met some really nice people:grouphug:

overall we did enjoy our cruise except for the flood in our stateroom hey you all didn't know we were the only stateroom that had a waterbed :rotfl2: and of course it took them 4 days to totally fix the problem and still the day we left the smell was still there yuck this took the "MAGIC" out of our cruise :sad2:

I heard about a flood. Were you on deck 7--around 7590's? I was taking a shower and mid way through the water stopped completely. Sudsy and all. I was pissed. The man next store said a cabin a few doors down had a flood. Was that you?

We made it back also... still looking around the house for the breakfast buffet... those hash browns rocked!

We had a great time and it was good to see all the nice people from this group, as my wife said the internet really makes the world smaller. I can't wait to see the group picture. The weather was incredible and our first visit to Castaway Cay was great. We rebooked too but are going to push it back when 2010 dates come out.

By the way, 46 degrees and rain greeted us at the airport last night. Why do we live here?

This is the best shot I have of our group:

can't wait to see more.
