hi everyone happy new year
I haven't been posting too much been really busy lately
Me and Jim tried to figure out what we are going to do at
each port, for the most part we have it figured out but at
anytime we could change our minds !!

welcome to all of our new cruise mates and their families and I read we are going to
have a new bride & groom (can't forget the groom )on the ship too congrats to the both of you.

Again I hope we can maybe all meet up with each other either on the ship or for those who are doing the pre-cruise maybe
at one of the local hotels or local resturants that would be fun.

I am totally agonizing over what to do at each port. We have a suite so today we can begin booking our reservations. My decisions change daily! It's just very exciting to think that it will be here before you know it! We did the Med cruise last year, it was fabulous. That cruise was so wonderful I didn't think I could get so excited about this upcoming one!

Are you doing the Disney wedding package? I thought they had a coordinator that could answer this type of thing? If not, I'd say the safest thing is to get vows ready just in case you need them.

Yes,they are doing a wedding package and I´m pretty sure they take care of all that.
If not,we all meet up in the bar and peace something together on Sunday,right .

Please dont be concerned about calling DCL with any questions, they will be glad to help you. They have translaters for every language and this is a big deal for you and they appreciate that.

I'm so excited, I booked my Palo and Spa Reservations today!!!

I couldn't get Parasailing at Castaway Cay though, could that be booked already?

I'm doing Palo on Thursday night from 7-9 and brunch on Mon. 11:30.

When do you book stuff like the wine or beer tasting, when you get onboard?

I'm on a major countdown!!!!!

When I booked right at midnight yesterday the parasailing wasn't available. I think they have had issues finding a vendor for this, so I think its just not available at all right now, rather than booked up. I would check back every once in a while to see if they add it back on, if it is something you really want to do.

Would anyone out there be willing to negotiate a trade whereby I will make magnets or some such thing in exchange for someone else making me a fish extender?

First, CONGRATULATIONS

Second, will you be doing your vows in English? German? I don't know how much help I could be in German, but I'm sure a lot of us could email you the vows we used at our own weddings if you really want some examples or suggestions that you can borrow from.

Third, I am an event planning nut, and I save EVERYTHING, so if you want - tell me your wedding colors, plans, and all that and I'll take a peek through my many boxes and see what I might have for you!

This is a GREAT!! idea. I could very much help with some magnet graphics if someone else could help me with a fish extender. I'm a computer person and getting better and better (IMNSHO) with making graphics, but sewing is definitely not my forte.

I'm working on some ideas with the April Showers of Happiness (or was it Delight) idea. Have to go back and re-read the post to get the name right. But I can't find just the picture I want. Anyone got a picture of a relatively empty Deck 9? Something like with the DCL logo on the stacks in the background or something? But if anyone comes up with a different name, that'd be great too.... If we come up with a few different ones I'll just post a poll and link to it here. I mean if that's okay..... I don't want anyone to think I'm trying to "take over" or anything.

Rala, go ahead and call the coordinator. That's what they're there for. Besides... you're paying enough for it, IMO But conny's right... if you don't come up with something we can all offer our input on Sunday night

Oh, and one more thing. If someone's jonesin' for some island music I found a station called Island Time on Live365.com. Very relaxing music perfect to get you in the mood (and for me to work on magnet graphics by).

Aparently next to your cabin door is this metal fish clip thing. And folks apparently hang pockets from it (think a shoe hanger thing in the closet but much nicer looking). I heard people leave notes and/or small gifts in them?

Hey, for you cruise vets.... if I can afford it (this "free" cruise is getting expensive but I'm sooo excited I don't even care) I'd like to pick up some stuff to spread the magic a bit. What kinds of things have you found left in your fish extenders?

Yes, I purchased the romance package. I was pleasantly surprised, I thought you can just book Palo in advance and not excursions and spa. Now, I'm definitely glad I did it.

Obviously my mind and my time on the computer has been spent elsewhere...I had so much to catch up on....not to mention not getting updates from the site even though I am a subscriber! What is the deal with that! HOLY COW..the thread has taken off!

I am jealous of our disney bride and groom...how special...it is how I would do it if I could do it all over again.
I am jealous of you too Joan for having ressies already! Good for you! Did you book any spa treatments...I did a half a body massage..this time I am going for the full!

Anyone interested in doing a precruise diet/exercise suport group? Let me know. I am having health issues that have caused me to put on more weight on top of already being overweight....just looking for a little companionship on the journey.

Also..I am the one who had started the conversations or the idea about a pre-cruise meet. I am not sure if I should be the one in charge in that I am not sure what we are doing the night before...we might be staying at Disney or we might just keep our plans as is and stay by the port...and then we could do a meet...but if we go to disney, we won't be there...so....
Is anyone out there interested in being in "charge?" TIA and my apologies.
