Welcome, this is our first cruise also, we are going with our daughter, her husband ,three children, my sister,her husband and their two children, we are all soooo excited. see you there

I can't believe we are only a few magical weeks away!

I keep reading about all your FE and FE gifts...wish we were doing that....the kids would have gotten kick out of it...but between working crazy hous in the ER and going back to school its just not in the cards. BUT we did manage to get some magnets printed for our door and I am trying to make a fireman Mickey for door too (DH is a firefighter and the kids picked that one from all the awesome door designs)

I've got DS's bag packed (one down four to go) and we have his birthday party this Sunday (turning the big 10 )

What is everyone looking forward to the most for this cruise? I know for us it is experiencing the cruise with the kids (their 1st cruise) and doing the dolphin swim with them. DH and I did the swim on our honeymoon and wanted the kids to have the experience too.

I use the bark coating from the grocery store.

Yes, chocolate bark is the way to go. It hardens well. We like making Oreo balls -- put the Oreos in a food processor, mix in cream cheese, form into balls and coat with chocolate bark. Delicious.

If you use chocolate bark, as curlybop says, do not overheat it -- just follow the directions on the package.

Castlegazer - thanks for the info. I'm good with HOT. Sounds like we should get your DS and DD together with my DS and DD. DS10 plans to swim and snorkel at CC. DD5 (she turns 6 two weeks after the cruise) would love to have a little girl to play with. She's very social and outgoing. DS10 is shy but good once he gets comfortable. I'm hoping they both like the clubs.

I agree! It was snowing/raining here in VA yesterday, after temps in the 80's just a few days ago. Today it's in the 50's. I'm not amused!

I brought out one suitcase this weekend after the kids were asleep, just to see what I had stored in there. DH said "You are doing this already?" Yes, and that's another reason why you are added to the list on here, sweetie. LOL!!

Off to the Dollar Tree today to see if I can find some of the Disney pens others have found. Hopefully so! I have some markers for autograph books but those pens would be neat too - especially at that price!

I haven't even told my in-laws about this trip....mostly because I'm afraid she will accidentally say something around the kids. They will find out a couple of days before we leave. Of course our employers know, my parents know, that's about it. Our kids have no idea. Just last night my 8 year old was saying (whining) that we never plan anything fun and probably won't do anything for her birthday. I just laughed. If she knew what we were up to she'd flip!
