Thanks Debbie, I do manually subscribe, but sometimes I don't want to actually "subscribe" but rather just be able to go take a look at the thread on occasion, especially if I posted on it. What's the user CP mean? I know, probably very easy but I have snow on the brain these days...!

User CP is at the top of the boards - in the red bar - User CP, Chat, Reviews, News, BLOG...and underneath is a blue bar.

Hey - I have snow on the brain right now - because it is actually snowing here in MD...accumulating snow!! I want the superintendant to call now with the closing not 5:45am tomorrow!!!

I am DONE with the snow and winter. 6 snow days, countless delays and today an early dismissal. And the sad thing is there is no end in sight!!!

I must say reading all your posts are tempting to join the FE exchange. I've been so intimidated by the number of people participating that I didn't think I'd do it. Sad thing is I already have a FE from our last 2 cruises, it would be a same not use it right????

I'll have to read some of the FE threads to see if I can handle it! Do you normally make 1 gift per person in each stateroom or do 1 gift per stateroom?

Still checking daily to see if Brunch at Palo opens up, otherwise I'm sure we'll all meet in line to try and snag one the day we board!!!

Yes, it will be a shame NOT to use your FE!!! Especially, when you need a distraction from these endless snowstorms! As I was told - it's up to you one per stateroom or one per each person, as long as its FUN, FUN, FUN!
At least this year I can justify driving 4x4 , but it does not help much on ice

Thanks I'm still struggling a bit, but hanging in there. The whole side of my mouth that had the root canal on Monday is still extremely raw and painful. The endodontist was supposed to go through the cap on the tooth, but "somehow" it came off, so now it's being held in place with temporary adhesive. I go to my regular dentist next week to have it taken back off and permanently adhered. I sure hope I'm not still in pain when I go!

The day after the root canal, I had an appointment to look at a mole on my back and the doctor determined it needed to be removed and biopsied right then! Oh my, I wasn't mentally prepared for that, especially since I could barely move my mouth from the root canal pain. Everyone thinks I'm a very brave person because I was a bone marrow donor for a complete stranger 2-1/2 years ago (I matched someone on the National Marrow Donor registry!), but in reality, I'm just a great big baby!

So for those of you that print directly onto magnetic paper, can you do it through a laser jet or only inkjet? Do you find its more wasteful, since you may only use a portion of a sheet?

We have a regular 'ole inkjet printer. It's amazing to me that the magnetic paper feeds in just like a regular piece of paper! I always put as many graphics as I can fit onto a word document page and then print so I don't waste any of the magnetic paper. Oh, and I only load one magnetic sheet at a time into the printer.

It's pretty easy actually, it just takes a little time to get everything to look exactly how you want it. I get my fonts from The Disney Experience website http://www.disneyexperience.com/services/customize_index.php
and then open my image in Microsoft Publisher and add the names, sayings, etc that I want. Then save and print
Here's the link to Milliepie's designs. Some of the others that I got designs from in the past are not on there anymore (and my old laptop with all my links and graphics crashed )
If anybody wants some help, just let me know! If you can email me what you want and links to the graphics, I will see what I can do

And while you're at it, please join the FE Exchange on the 3-night cruise, too! I'm organizing that one as well, and we only have 6 cabins participating so far.

OK, I just spent the last, i don't know, the entire night making my new magnets and t-shirt stuff! I did it MYSELF!!

Did the snow make y'all extra chatty the last couple of days?!? Geesh....haven't had that many pages to read in a long time.


This s&$% can just go away!!! We had about 2 inches on the ground when DD went to school, which was let out 2 hours early. She was smart and called work while she was at school and found out they were closing early so she didn't have to go in. Then in the afternoon it turned to rain, then it was thundersnow for a bit, then all sleet for a couple hours, and then snow coming down hard since about 7:30 or so. School is cancelled for tomorrow.
I'm ready for palm trees and an umbrella drink!!!

Good morning everyone!!! Same story different day --- snowed in again . Unfortunately I have to shovel my BURIED car out and get to work this afternoon -- as a visiting nurse we never close (guess we're expected to get on our sleds and have our snow dogs cart us around town ). I at least have to get out to do my new admission which is fortunately on my side of town. Pray for no snow on Saturday, I'm on call 4p-8a .

The school system has so far extended the school year into mid-June and I don't think they can mess with April vacation due to their contracts so we should be ok. Not that is matters -- we're going anyways.

Exactly!!!!! We had a blast of snow yesterday afternoon. I thought I would be smart and head out from work early. Wrong! My 25 minute commute took over an hour. We live out in the sticks anyway, so I was expecting those roads to be terrible. What I didn't expect was that our main highway was a mess. It had not even been touched with chemicals or a snow plow. By the time I got home I collapsed on the couch. It fried my nerves.

Anyway, I'm glad so many are having a great time preparing! If I had time I would join the FE madness too....but it's just not in the cards right now. I did make some door signs and magnets for our last cruise though. I did the same as someone else suggested - printed, laminated and put magnetic tape on them. I found them just a few weeks ago and had to smile....what great memories! I also found the magnetic Mickey ears to go around the cabin number. I will reuse them and just change the room number on the back.

My oldest is now driving me crazy to cruise. We've watched a few YouTube clips of the Dream. She has begged and pleaded to go. Little does she know, she will be there very soon! I don't plan on telling her until the day we fly out though. I know how she is, and I don't want the daily grill of how much longer....

Well We got another foot of snow last night and another day off from school. One of the accidents my husband was called to last night was a truck that flipped over three times. Turns out it was good friends of ours, thankfully they are ok, I don't like getting serious accidents like that one.

I ws very hesitant to join the FE exchange as I am the most uncrafty person but my daughter really wanted to. She wanted to make our Fe herself so off we went to Michaels craft store. I had no idea what I was doing but we came home with some material. I have to say, she made one beautiful holder! My husband and I were so surprised! And she is making one of our gifts. I am so glad we joined it has turned out to be so much fun!!
