Hello All...not looking forward to the possible snow Friday...I have plans to visit my parents in NJ for the weekend!! My mom and I have some major trip planning to do!! NO SNOW....NO SNOW...NO SNOW!
I have two question -
Because I have been down and out for the last 24 hours with a horrendous UTI,

I started thinking what would happen if this happened on the cruise??!!

Do they have a doctor onboard who can prescribe antibiotics??
We have been trying to decided if I should try to get us a Palo reservation. I know there is a brunch and dinner but I read something about a High Tea. Do they do this on the Dream? Is that something you reserve ahead of time?
I have to find some way to make a planning sheet for this cruise. I have an awesome WDW Excel spreadsheet that I have fine tuned over the years, but it is not going to work for a cruise...Hmmmm
Yelena thanks for posting the link to Land's End.

My cart now has over $250 worth of clothes!!

Lots of great bargains. I love to shop ahead for Connor. I found a coat and snow pants for next year.
Debbie
Hi Debbie,
Have fun shopping!

:
There is a doctor on board but I am not sure about the selections of meds they have on board. They are trained to provide first aid and determine if condition is serious or could wait until disembarkation. I believe, there is also an extra charge for their services.
Some make fun of me

, but I am known for overpacking

; and every year I have a designated BAG filled with medications, including antibiotics and UTI test strips for instant testing as my DD has a history of bladder/kidney infection. Other basics I pack (adult and kids versions of each

: motrin, tylenol, mylanta, tums, peptobismol, cough and allergy medicine, eye drops, ear drops, ban-aids, neosporin, benadryl, bonine, wrist bracelets (seasickness), creams ag. sunburns, cortisone, etc....

I know the comment that usually comes after a post like this.........go ahead and knock on my door if you are in need of any meds
Also, I hope you purchased
travel insurance that includes coverage for medical expenses. If not, the best place to shop is insuremytrip.com. You can compare coverage and costs from different providers.
I hope snow would bypass us......

but I could use a stay home day as i finally caught a cold

Every single child I worked with last week was sick and my body could not resist it anymore....
Yes - you need reservations for High Tea. I never had it, but noticed that nothing was available for reservations already. I would like to hear from others if they tried High Tea before and what it's about
PS Deb T. - you are so fast!

. I did not see your post when I started typing mine

Were you charged for your medical troubles? was it covered by your
trip insurance?
