I made the first 2 teens to sign up for the facebook teen group administrators. So now they can do whatever they want, add whatever they want, talk about whatever they want. They can message me if they need the group creator to do something.

Meanwhile, I'm focusing on wondering whether Southwest will open up April in October or November. And saving for that airfare. I'll have a better idea when SW opens up prior to April on August 18? or 19th? Then maybe they'll list the next opening up date.

I'm running out of these to plan for. Say it ain't so!

Checked availability of our cruise. Even concierge is almost sold out. Most of cat 5 is in guarantee status. Some of cat. 4's only have a couple cabins listed.

Of course that will all change around final payment time.

Okay, I know I haven't posted in awhile, but wanted to let you know that I am lurking and anxiously awaiting any group decisions on meets, etc. I've been working on FE gifts and have a good reserve going for peeps who decide to join up in the next 8 weeks, so I can focus on my upcoming Masters class (starts Tues.)

Please keep sharing, I'll be lurking and checking in as my guilty pleasure on study breaks. And day dreaming of riding the Aquaduck...

But....I think I made a big mistake. I was the first teen.... (Sandy Cutler) And, I just commented on your status, asking why I was made administrator! Don't worry - I took myself off as the administrator. I just wanted to be a guest so I could invite my daughter to join, which I did. I think it might help if we send the link and/or join the group and then "invite" our kids.

I don't facebook so my daughter doesn't either. She would really like to start to be able to chat with others her age.

Nothing has been set up regarding meets yet. We've always found that a short meet & greet about 30 minutes prior to the lifeboat drill works out well. After that, all the activities/shows/dinners start. Since there are already 47 of us posting on this thread, we're going to need a fairly large area (such as the Promenade Lounge on the Magic and Wonder). I think we might have to wait until we have a better idea of what the common areas are going to be on the new ship.

I just added a post to both threads about the kids not posting their cabin number without their parents consent. I also added a link to the DISboard guidelines for the new posters.

Just know when you fill out a profile for your tweens, they need to be born before august 10, 1997, for them to get their profile and start replying to forums.

If you fill out the year of birth anytime after the above date, they require a form to be filled and either mailed or faxed. I faxed something over this morning and still haven't heard anything back.....

I'm just sayin'.....

Thanks for forwarning. I just helped DD get her profile going. Printed out form. I'll probably flatbed scan it to my computer and try to use my computer to fax it. Hope it works.

Jill's tag fairy tag may be referring to an extra long post too (I tend to make super long novellas out of my posts sometimes too), but if she did write a book, I would love to know also!

They are taken, by the Tag Fairy, from posts you write, or the way you had your name appear. Mine comes from when I first signed up oh, 8 years ago or so, and at the time I was playing competitive soccer. I wasn't though any more until this year and I started again! So again, I am a soccer Mom! The other three are from stupid... or more like, funny, things I said in posts. I actually don't know if the tag fairy appears anymore? Colors under your screen name are controlled by moderators or Tag Fairies. The Tag Fairies Tag you with these colors or sayings.

Will have to see if I can get my shy 10 year old to join in on the tween board. I bet she wont' go to the tween club when it comes down with to it but will rather go with her younger sister. She didn't go at all last cruise but really wants to at least try it this trip.

Off to see the Bieber. Already got an email from the venue saying they are expecting huge traffic issues. Glad we got a hotel within a mile, we will just be walking down and back. See you next week.
