Yikes, 5 ships in port on the 20th, St. Thomas will be hopping. Has anyone figured out if we'll be tendering?

Sue

I don't see it posted yet. This website should be updated any day now and has all the details of docking and tendering. http://www.vinow.com/general_usvi/cruiseship/ I have been checking it for a couple of days now. It should be up soon. :hourglass

Meanwhile, I have our cruise docs, pulled out our passports, filled our guest room with tons of cruise clothes and luggage, made ressies for a day room at the Hyatt on the 23rd, reconfirmed our room at the Hyatt for the 15th, reconfirmed our flights (looks sold out!!!), have played with my new digital camera (but still plan to bring the old film one, just in case), seem to be getting DH excited about going, tying up loose ends at work and stressing to them how much ship to shore calls cost  , told them will check email ONCE a day :badpc: , got the dog "accepted" at the kennel, :cheer2: dropped off the order to hold the mail, called to stop the newspaper, filed the tax returns (thanks to the refund, I'll be having TWO massages!!!) , and now I am developing my plan of attack so I can beat Tylerandalliesmom to the Palo and Spa ressies (just kidding Tami) :rotfl2: .

What am I missing? :confused3 Let me know!!!! Thanks. :sunny:

Umm, I think turn off the water in the house (in case something leaks or floods the house) & unplug all appliances? I think computer & lamps, kitchen appl., except the frig, of course ;)

Sounds like you have a great plan, CTFamily! Can't wait to meet you and all the others!! :goodvibes

I have to find a "sitter" for the newborn kittens and then just last minute things like snacks for the kiddos on our 6 hour plane ride :earseek: with my 3yr old. :faint: & 12 yr old:hyper2:. Boy, I'll need a Margarita before that trip! LOL!

I need to get a cat sitter too. And have the mail held. And get the camera stuff together... boy I have a lot to do still.

Aaaaaah, yes, the extension cord!!!! On my list, but not yet in the "packing room" aka the guest room. Off to do that right now.

I'm very worried about the coffee, too. I am a total Dunkin Donuts coffee-aholic, (those of you in the Northeast may understand). I am thinking of bringing my own coffee and my own coffee maker so I can enjoy my daily "fix" out on the veranda!!!!!

...and let the games begin. :duck: (Loser buys the winner a Konk Kooler!!!)

, and now I am developing my plan of attack so I can beat Tylerandalliesmom to the Palo and Spa ressies (just kidding Tami) :rotfl2: .

What am I missing? :confused3 Let me know!!!! Thanks. :sunny:[/QUOTE]

You're on!!!!

Our passports arrived today -  . We are getting closer - Woo Hoo!

Now, if I can track down the UPS man and get the docs - we will be all set! I cross my fingers everyday that he will be bringing them soon - :cool1:

I just checked the St. Thomas link that was posted by CTFamilyCruisers and it said we will be at CB - Crown Bay dock. Does anyone know where this is located :confused3 . I read on another thread that when the Magic docked a few weeks ago it was far from downtown - is this that dock?

The other choices were WICO - West Indian Company dock in Havensight.

I wonder if we will be in the boonies? Oh, well at least we don't have to tender in!! :cool1:

cookielulu - I just went to the same website... and was going to post the exact same question about Crown Bay! :)

Accordingly to JHorstma's recent trip report, Crown Bay is in the boonies. About $3.50 taxi ride. BTW, if you haven't read it, it's a great report on the Trip Report Board .

Sue

Ahhhh, no more Herc? I thought we would be able to see it one more time. Thanks for posting the threads, Sue! BTW, what the heck is a "Bumblesquat"? LOL! that is the show that is replacing Hercules on our cruise.

Sounds questionable to me!! :rotfl2:

Since it is our first Disney cruise, it's all new to me. Hercules, Bumblesquat- :confused3 all means little to us. I'm game for anything. If it is Cirque-like, though, I'll love it.

Are there any shows that you all wouldn't miss?

BUMBLESQUAT... As another poster said, my kids are just going to love saying that!!!!! I can just hear the giggles now!

Don't miss Disney Dreams! And the Variety shows (now show) are (is) VERY funny too. And Who Wants to be a Mouseketeer? is an awesome show! Brush up on your Disney trivia everyone!

We're all so excited here in Massachusetts! It's getting WARM! :sunny:
