I'm not sure, but usually the main dining fill up first. DD tells me we have late - I guess that is a sign of aging when you can't remember when you are supposed to eat.

I think I have been biten by the bug too - just returned from WDW and in addition to this cruise I am now booked with some of the Crhistmas 04 mom's on the 11 night southern 9-17-06.

Vicki - HOW AWESOME for you!!! With or without the kids???

Kimmielee,

since our boys are the same age amd we are both early seating, maybe we should dine together

something to consider as we get closer

- David

David... sounds good!! I think it would help get Noah through 1 1/2 dinner if he had a buddy or two to chat with! He's such a fast eater... I'm working on slowing him down, for many reasons... but for the cruise too!! (They rush the kids to eat so quickly at school these days... he just devours his food!)

Vicki... now I am jealous! I did a 7 night Carnival cruise in the spring of this year (my first and only cruise so far) without my little one and wow... I read 4 books... had an awesome, relaxing, fun filled time... Congrats!!

Headed to Seattle on a business trip tomorrow.... spread some pixie dust that Northwest doesn't strike or I'll be stranded!!! :scared1:

Hi there Mary Pop and welcome aboard,

my son will be 6, and so will KimmieLee's

we definitely have to get the boys to meet before the cruise so they have a grand magical time

- David

That sounds great! Has your son been on the Magic before? Did he enjoy the club? I am trying to tell DS that the club will be so much fun. I think he would enjoy it better if he knew someone. :earsboy: Does your son like pirates? Ryan is so into pirates right now, so I can guess that the Pirates of the Carribean party is going to be right up his alley. pirate:
Mary

Mary,

yes we have been on the magic a few times

my son and older daughter both love the clubs

your son will love the pirtae ship in the club, and I'm sure he will be dressing up for Pirate night and the Pirate Party!!

Mary / Kimmie

What cabin numbers are you staying in?

- David

We are staying in cabin 6096.

Just out of curiosity, how far in advance can you make reservations for the club, spa, and Palo? I am so new to this stuff, our travel agent isn't making as easy as I want it to be. Any suggestions?

Mary

During the past year they have made changes to all of this, now allowing people to book ONLINE based upon the following time frames for the Spa, Palo, and the kids Club:

Concierage level cabins - 105 days out before sailing

Castaway Club members (families having already sailed on DCL) - 90 days out

1st time DCL cruisers - 75 days out

- D

Thanks so much for the information! We are in the process of getting a new travel agent due to the poor preformance of our current one. She didn't have a clue about online bookings for the spa, ect.. Hopefully we will get to keep the same room and things go a bit more smoothly.

Mary

I know that Ryan would be so excited to meet anyone who might be joining him in the kids club online. It would be fun to meet everyone once we board the ship also.
Mary

I have a great travel agent if you need one - she is out of Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas - even though I am in NY - she has always been able to get great prices for me, and give me a big discount over the price Disney qouted me

Carol is my gal, she is the owner

www.dfwcruises.com

tell her you are friends with me, she will definitely take care of you

- D

Thanks so much for your advice. I went with Small World Vacations. They are wonderful!!! :cheer2: We fired our other travel agent and hired them. Cissy is our new travel agent and she has everything under control now. We even got to keep the same room! I feel so much better now- :cloud9: I am now more than ever excited about this cruise- how many more months??

Thanks again for your help.

Mary

238 days, 5 hrs, ....................... but whose counting

Just out of curiousity how are people putting on the tickerfactory timelines. I have tried but have been unsuccessful. :confused3

 Whew... talk about close!! My flight landed at 5:30 a.m. this morning and by the time I left the terminal, flights were being cancelled! :rolleyes1

Mary - I'm so glad you are joining us!! My son turns six in October. I've been talking up how exciting and fun the club is and we just got our DCL DVD and they show the kids having a ball!! SO... he says... "Momma, when I'm in my club do you have a club to go to?".... I respond... "Oh yes... Momma has a club of her own!" :rotfl: :rotfl2:

It will be fun, fun, fun and we can actually fit in some relaxation time!

My room is 7070! David - where is your room?

Mary... go to http://www.tickerfactory.com/ezticker/ticker_designer.php to get your ticker (It's a few screens/choices to design your own, input your dates, etc..... then copy the bbCode and past it into your signature!

I'm glad to be home to Michigan but fell in LOVE with Seattle... :cloud9:

We are in 8600. Looks like we all are all in he back half of the ship. Makes everything convenient,

welcome back kimmie
