A 3:00 Dismeet works for me. Can anyone think of where we should have it?

How about the hidden deck on 7 aft? (was it aft or stern?) not sure. Last time we met in one of the cafe's and it was dark and the kids couldn't move around.

Just a thought.

t-shirts Why don't we split it up into jobs? That way it's not all on one person.

1- One person-co-ordinates with the 'art department' on the designing the shirt. We've already settled the mouse thing with the DCL date on the back. Calculates cost of just the shirt.

2-One person puts together the list of people who want the tshirts-names, addresses, ...than hands it off to the third person.

3-Third person distributes, collects money, mails them out if necessary.

We may only have to do step one depending on which company we use and then everybody orders on their own.

If not, I would volunteer for step three. I ship all the time at work using UPS. It would be easy for me and I don't mind ordering the bulk and mailing them out. Any volunteers for 1 or 2?

I was in a show where the director used the site www.cafepress.com.

You can upload artwork to it and then people can just go to your page to order t-shirts (or whatever else you want to put the logo on...).

If we got some good artwork, we could put it there and let them do all the shipping and stuff.

Just an idea!!

cafepress.com sounds like a great idea to me. This way everyone can handle it on their own.

Question regarding the back of the shirt: There had been chatter of having each persons Disname on the back of their shirt, similar to a jersey of some sort. Then their other family members would have D_ on the back of their shirts. For example, my shirt would say "Disneyfanatic3166", my DH's would say "DH of Disneyfanatic3166" etc. Are people still into this idea?

Cafepress.com sounds good to me too...since each family can order their own. Would someone have to send cafepress.com the mouse design we all liked for the shirts? What color t-shirt does everyone want to go with? I like the idea of having the saildate on the back of the shirt and how about underneath the saildate put our user disname?

As far as our dismeet - 3:00pm is good for us also. Since this is our first time on the Magic I can not recommend a meeting place.

Here is my vote....

Deck 9 Aft

There are alot of tables and it is covered...there was never really anyone back that far when I was around earlier this month.

I agree. Since we'll already be on deck 9 using the pool, that this would be a good area for our dismeet.

Cafepress.com sounds good to me! I just tried to upload the picture and it is so small only 4 inches on the shirt. Someone who knows what they are doing needs to check this site out. Maybe if we had someone on the creative boards help us out.

That's a great place, but doesn't the buffet close at 3:00? We will be able to get there thru the buffet room or will it be closed? Is there a way to go around the Topsiders?

The area outside of topsiders is always open. You can get there by either walking around to the left of Goofy's Galley and Scoops...or there are the two stairways that comedown from Deck 10.

Great!

What time is the safety drill, I forget? 2:00 or 4:00?

I've started a thread on the creative DIsigns thread asking for advice on the T-shirt. I'm not sure if that was the right forum or not. I summarized what's been talked about. Please add to it if I've forgotten anything.

I figure we've got one more week on this before we get too busy!

I messed around with customink again and zazzle. Cafepress, I found hard to use but then I took four musical instruments to get out of art in grade school and managed to avoid art 'til graduation. Not exactly visually creatively inclined!:confused3

2 more of my attempts hence why I started the new thread!:hourglass

We've already been given some ideas:

Take a look at the thread! http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=17347060&posted=1#post17347060

Has anyone else looked at the design M_I_C_K_E_Y designed for us on the above thread? I LOVE it! Really nice and original. :thumbsup2 My only issue is that I have an old color printer that's on it's last leg thanks to my 8 year old that gives it constant use. If we agree to do the transfer paper, could someone kindly print 3 for my family and mail them to me in MA. ?? What color t-shirts does everyone want to go with? I'm thinking white since the design is so colorful and detailed.

I love the design thats been made for us!

Honestly though, I'd like to stay as far away from doing my own iron ons as possible, so I may end up spending the extra $ and getting them through one of those sites.
