We ordered our FE from gradysmom last week also, It should come in the mail this week.:yay:..I'll let you know!
Had DD 9th B-Day party on Saturday :bday: April !!!!!
Went shopping today for cruise clothes...is anyone dressing up for Easter Sunday???
:goofy::goofy::goofy: IS IT TIME TO CRUISE YET !!:goofy::goofy::goofy:

We did the whole lights out thing for the environment Saturday night and had a great family chat about our trip. :grouphug: We completely changed what we had scheduled for excursions since it seems that the water is going to be a bit chilly still. :scared1: So now it is biking and glass bottom boat at CC. And, garden/city tour in Nassau. Anyone know if we are going to find many things closed in Nassau since it is Easter Monday and considered a holiday in the Bahamas?::confused3
Only 7 working/school days until we start vaca!:woohoo:

I believe that you will find some of the stores open and some closed. The government does not require that the shops be closed - it is up to each individual business, however, they have to pay overtime. But one thing I know, if there is money to be made, you can be sure that many of the shops will be open.

With regards to the water temperature, it is currently is 83 degrees F - not too bad in my book. With regards to the outside air temperature, it was 90 degrees inland in Florida (Vero Beach)- so for those of you going to WDW, be prepared. However, by the beach, it was 83 degrees. So, I am guessing that the temperature (assuming that there are no late season cold fronts) should be around 85 degrees during the day. Last year, we went on the 7 night cruise during this exact time and we had a record setting day at CC for the temperature - it was 88 degrees! Bring it on!!!!!

We are counting the days!!!!!!

See you all soon!

Glad to hear that the water is warmer than the 75 degrees they have been talking about it being. I was a quite worried about only having water plans in CC if the water was cold. Now we can enjoy both the beach and the glass bottom boat. (Cold water + me = REALLY grouchy mom!)
Thank you so much for answering my question on Nassau on Easter Monday. I posted the same question a couple of times out on the main forum and many people looked but nobody answered.:flower3:
Does everyone have their FE stuff ready? pirate:

OK so I am going through some things so that I can go FE shopping this weekend. Are my numbers correct here?

20 Adults (including the Kricks)
3 boys (12 and under)
9 girls (12 and under)
2 girls (12 and over)
0 boys (12 and over)

This is going to be FUN!!!

As for Easter we are dressing up for church at the Contemporary but we will probably change on the way to the ship. I know that last year i was a little to casual so I plan to step it up a bit this year:goodvibes

Lata!

Glad that we could help. The water warms up pretty quickly in the Bahamas due to the fact that it is so shallow. - on the other hand, it can cool off pretty quickly too, but I think we are done with significant cold fronts for the season. The water at our beach (just at the end of our street) is 75 degrees and we are further north and have deeper water. I checked the NOAA site for the water temperatures throughout the Bahamas it is warmer than Vero by about 5-8 degrees. If the weather continues like today - it was 88 degrees and very humid, the water will continue to get warmer. yipee.

We will start our FE shopping this weekend. Finished our sunblock shopping last weekend. :yay:

TWO MORE DAYS OF SCHOOL AND WORK!!!!!! COME ON SPRING BREAK!!! :cheer2::cool1:

Only two more days. I am jealous. We have five more days of school and work until Spring Break!:scared: Do your DDs have two weeks for Spring Break? We only get one plus Good Friday.

I just keep thinking of Willy Wonka when the one girl says "I want it now!"

See everyone soon!

Ahhhh, one of the benefits of living in the great NE. Our clothes have been packed for weeks since we won't need any of them up here until about July.:rotfl:
There are four of us Curtins (no a please, we don't get hung up :lmao:) Two adults and two boys.
We better get out of here soon because I keep finding more stuff to put in the FEs. I have no control!
A meet sounds great! Monday will work for us. We have the late seating for dinner though.
A week from today we will be enjoying MK with Gram-Gram and Pop-Pop (Snowbirds).
See everyone soon!

We got our FE today also! It really looks good! Gradysmom on e-bay did a awesome job. We are all excited about this vacation! A meet and greet sounds good for Monday. We have second dinner seating also. Let's try to make it work! Keep us posted!

The Nacinovich/Gaspardo crew has 4 adults. :) We'd love to meet all of you guys too. We have early dining.

OK so I'm figuring that we could meet up round 9:30 pm? That will give people that have second seating the chance to not have to rush through their meals. I believe our kids will be in the Oceaneers Lab at that time so we are not planning on bringing them with. If no kids can we meet at the Cove? If people want to/ need to bring kids how about Diversions?

Off to do FE bags!

Diversions sounds good to us, in case our two want to come with. These girls and can change their minds
in a split second! (depending on their mood too!) :confused3

:goofy::goofy::goofy:1 MORE WEEK!!!::goofy::goofy::goofy:
