Does anyone know how the doc's are processed alphabetical, catagories, states? I know that we will all get our doc's but I think I am not the only one who wanted them YESTERDAY! I know I will be waiting for our mailman in the morning.

Don't wait for your mailman--wait for your man in brown. UPS delivers the doc I believe.

It may just take a few extra days cross country. It is basically your tickets and your baggage stickers.

Ours came by UPS and I have to go pick them up tonight, but my daughters came by US Mail. But they are here.....Time is getting short. :3dglasses :wizard: :rotfl: :lmao: :thumbsup2

Yup we got ours yesterday in the mail...along with a lawyers letter from the third car involved in the accident. I think it's really strange that she was the only one to drive away from the scene, and didn't go to the hospital but had pain and she hired a lawyer. Oh well, that's what insurance is for!!
But on the positive side the cruise documents were there too so instead of being upset I was happy! Now to start going through the clothes and packing!!! Maybe that will bring April 11th (and a week to really relax) closer faster! :cool1:

My documents came yesterday as well. They came via UPS. I am really getting excited now.

Our documents came by U.S. mail for our last cruise. I think it depends on where you live if you get it through UPS or regular mail. I live in a remote place so maybe UPS and the regular mail people have some kind of deal delivering stuff to us country bumpkins. I live in such a remote place, the nearest town is called Possum Trot!

Wow, that was my first REAL laugh out loud moment of the day ... Possum Trot, Kentucky ... :lmao:

kinda took my mind off of not getting our docs yesterday LOL

Our TA got our docs yesterday, too, but now we have to wait for her to send them to us, since our family group is spread out all over the country. I'm in Utah, she's in San Diego. She's been great, but I wish she was right next door!!

How many of you have done laundry on board? I have a Sis-in-law who is planning to pack only for 1/2 the trip and do laundry. I had to do an emergency load on our last cruise (spilled on good clothes) and felt it just takes too much time away from fun stuff. What's your advice?

I do laundry about the 2nd or 3rd morning. I put it in at around 6 am and then go for my walk. Come down, switch it to dryer and do more walk. It is less crowded in the morning.

I have also done laundry on board ... I think I did it during lunch time or something when the laundry area wasn't packed ... I spaced them out and used 3 or 4 machines and just got it done. I went to the room and waited and went back. People get antsy when there are dry clothes taking up a dryer so be sure to watch the time and get back or else you could find your delicate undies out on the counter for everyone to see! :rotfl2:

I was just checking DCL site and Palo Dinner reservations just opened up for days 1,4,5 and 7...
Too bad I really only want to go for Brunch :(

Not any more. I have a Palo reservation for night 5 at 8:30. That WAS perfect, since there was nothing special going on that night UNTIL they switched pirate night. I could have chosen a different night when I made the reservation, but no luck now.

Does anybody know how to get waitlisted for another night? Does anybody have suggestions on the best night to request? Must be a casual night later in the cruise, since the kids need to be willing to go to the clubs, so must be comfortable with the clubs.

What are my chances of getting something if I am on board by 12:00?

This is really frustrating - I worked so hard to get educated so I could choose the right night, and was so proud that I remembered to log onto DCL at exactly 9:00 pacific time the date I was allowed to. I did everything right and now it is messed up :sad1:

My husband did laundry on board on our last cruise. He did it during the main dinner seating on the last night-our DD had started to get antsy and wouldn't sit still so he took her do wash clothes to get her to calm down. He didn't have any complaints or mention it was crowded. It was only a 3 night though, so maybe a lot of people were not doing laundry. :confused3

I just want to caution against making major changes right now. Are the seating rotations set in stone yet or will they change again if they realize this way is a fiasco?

Waitlisting for Palo is simply going in and telling them. You can even call that day too and see what has opened up.

Can you imagine being the first cruise right after the change? Talk about freaking out.

Happy Easter all!
