So exited for all the movies that are playing!
I'm exited my daughters arn't crazy about the Jonas Brothers. When we visited DLR about 6-7 months ago maybe a little longer they were filming the JB movie or show and there was about 2,000 girls maybe more screaming that they may be on the camera. It was absolutely insane. FE still hasn't come in the mail yet, hopefully soon! Thanks for the FE count update, it really helps to but things when you know the counts, and thanks for arranging all of this! Itutor- such a cute idea with the cupcakes! Big Willie SUCH a cute idea! Set up so perfectly! Can't wait only a little more time to wait!

I gave up LONG AGO and guess what happened - he started to take care of it himself and is always the first one packed for trips in our house. Now if I could only get so organized...

To all those who have cruised with Disney before - Just started to wonder about pirate night, does everyone dress for this and if so, how elaborate are the outfits? Thanks, finally starting to get into serious packing mode and realized I hadn't planned for this at all!

Hey everyone!
Wow I had a lot of posts to catch up on. Loved all the cupcake ideas!!

As for Pirate night I'd say it's up to you. Some people go all out ! We aren't quite as into it as some. We just all wear out pirate Tshirst. Don't get me wrong we LOVE Pirate night and love seeing everyone all dressed up. We just don't do it ourselves. So I would just do as much or as little as you want.
I can't believe we leave 2 weeks from tomorrow!!!!

Big Willie - You are the only one we will recognize on the boat! Oh, and your DD too! She is adorable and I showed my DD's her picture so they will recognize her too!

Goofy's Grl - We have 10 adults in our group and we all have pirate costumes from a Mardi Gras event last year. PPFQP posted a picture of all of us earlier in this thread. I can check it out later and let you know what page. (I am the one in the black and purple outfit.) Since we have the outfits, we are bringing them. My DD's will bring whatever pirate stuff we have, but I'm not getting them costumes. There were really cute princess pirate iron on patches at Joanne Fabrics. I thought about making cheap T-shirts. (Yea, right after I make my FE!!)

We can start checking weather on weather.com in just a few more days! It will tell you the weather 10 days out! Can't wait to see the temp. climb. I am so tired of being cold, and we have rain AGAIN!!! I know you northerners are a lot colder than us....sorry, but usually March is nicer than this here!

When I have more time, I will address the "Dis Meets" we've "talked" about! I don't mind putting that together since Anjie has been so nice to organize the FE exchange.

I wasn't planning on her spending every waking moment there but was hoping she would enjoy some of the activities and that DH and I might get an hour or two together alone each day Anyhow, DD is a fun-loving friendly child who definitely will go up to other kids and say hi and try to make friends but she can tend to get overwhelmed if there's a lot of kids and maybe some that have already paired up with others since they may be traveling with other family members or friends. Just wondering if any of your kids are feeling the same way or if you have gone thru this before and if you have any suggestions on how to get her more excited about the clubs...

Hope you are all having fun getting ready. I am actually going for a girls weekend to the mountains this weekend...looking forward to it very much but it is adding to the stress of getting ready for the cruise...

When we went on our first Disney cruise, my two oldest DD's were 7 & 4. We were not traveling with any other families. My DD's LOVED the clubs. We would have to pull them out at night. They paged us when they needed us, but that was rare. We toured Nassau while the DD's played in their clubs. They didn't even know we were gone. They were in separate clubs so they didn't have each other to play with. No matter! They had a great time! I hope your DD will feel the same way! Hopefully, she will give it a try. They will have lots of events that she probably will not want to miss out on. With the pager, she can page you anytime she feels uncomfortable or wants to leave. I had to leave a show to get one of my DD's out of the club. It was no big deal, I just brought her to the theater with me and we watched the rest of the show! Don't worry, it will probably be better than you think.

Now go pack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

she'll change her tune once you're on board. Make sure to go with her the first night. That's when a lot of the bonds are formed and the kids then look forward to spending time with their friends! My boys have been emailing with a few boys on this thread and they are so excited to meet them. You could try that. If you really play it down and let her et the tone for how much time she wants to spend there, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!!

Well I stopped our mail, faxed my DS Med. Form (He has a peanut allergy), started the laundry and ordered the last of our FE gifts. Whew!
Now we are off to the mall for what I hope will be the last of our pre-cruise purchases.

I want everyone to know though that if you have already purchased your FE gifts and they include something with peanuts please don't feel you have to get something else. My DS does a great job of dealing with his allergy and it really doesn't bother him if has to pass on a certain treat or something.

Wow so many posts to catch up on. Pirate night- our last DC we didnt dress up we only wore the bandannas given to us but this cruise i believe we plan to wear shirts. Many families dress up fully like pirates, it's a cute idea but our family isn't into that type of thing. Fe- Neither of my kids have an allergy, however we also don't plan on buying Fe gifts containing allergy related items. 2 weeks from today! I can't believe it as we get closer and closer.

Well we spent most of the morning packing and going over DH's clothes. I've already fill 1 and a half large suitcases ! Hope we can fit everything. I really feel for all of you who are flying. I don't know how you do it. As least we don't have to worry about weight and extra charges.

DH and DS10 went to get their haircut today. I hope that it's not too soon but I know we will all be crazy next weekend. Wow it's getting really close.

I went onto the DCL site today and was looking at the stateroom gifts and it seems like they changed a few and added a whole bunch. I know I've never seen the toys and stuff you can order. They say a certificate is left in your stateroom and you can go pick it up at the store onboard. Just thought I'd memtion it incase anyone was thinking of ordering anything.

I spent the day doing more laundry. I finally pulled down the totes with our summer clothes and washed what we need for the trip and washed the new clothes we bought. I am going to start packing everything into suitcases tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed I can fit everything into 3 suitcases...and keep them under 50 pounds. My DH may just have to deal with the fact that we have to bring a 4th suitcase!!

I can't believe it is time to do the final preparations for the trip. I have hair appointments next week for my DD and I . DH will get one this week too! I also have to be sure not to forget to take care of the paper and the mail! There is so much to do in the next two weeks! It will all be worth it when we are enjoying the DOTD!!!!!!
