My Family will be on the April 10th cruise and we really want our daughter to be involved with a Fish extender group, How do we sign up with a group ?...

After reading last years FE thread , and seeing the notes from the Webmaster saying we can start our own FE group.. I will Jump to the front and try to lead the troops. Feel free to contact me through this site if you already have a group and would like a few more member ;

Basic info needed : number of people participating , age ( roughly for adults ) , allergies or medical issues Diabetes etc , Cabin number...

No allergies

i would also like to join FE. We are first time cruisers and excited about this fun idea.
4 ppl, this is mainly for the 2 kids girl (8) and son (5). No allergies.

please let me know how to confirm and when are we going to know how many cabins will be in this troop so i can start my shopping.

It appears that John Ashley has decided NOT to host a FE for this cruise on the DIS. Someone else will need to organize a "latecomers" FE for this cruise.

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin. Other information you would like to share such as first names, ages of child participants, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one has posted recently about a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to start the FE right in this thread.

There is still enough time to plan a latecomers FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS. If anyone is interested in doing this, feel free to contact me for some suggestions.

I would hate for anyone to miss out on doing the FE. Is anyone here still interested? If so please let me know and send me information for the "latecomers" FE for this cruise. The deadline is Friday so that there is time for everyone to get their gifts together. If you are interested please send me a message with your cabin number, names, ages, gender of people in your group, favorite characters if you have any, allergies, shirt size, and email so I can send you a spreadsheet with the info of everyone in the group and if you don't want alcohol as a gift add that too.

The reason I am asking for shirt sizes is because someone might make shirts as gifts. I am making shirts for the kids with their favorite characters. Let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to answer as best as I can.

I don't suggest posting any personal information on the boards please. Anyone can see your info on here and I am big on privacy. If you don't feel comfortable sending me a message with the information, that is fine. I will not add you to the list. Whether or not you decide to participate in the FE, it is going to be a fabulous time. Let the countdown begin...

Good question. Usually you just click my name and then start a conversation I think, but it might not work since you only have two posts.

Once you have 10 posts, you will be able to send a PM (now called "Conversation"). There will be a link at the upper right on every page to your "Inbox" and you can click on any username and a link to "Start a conversation" will be available. In addition, you will then be able to upload images and have links in your signature.

All - My son (11) met a girl in the Edge named Abby (11) from the Seattle area (and she has been on around 17 cruises). My son did not get an email address for her, and was wondering if they participated in the FEs. Ultimately my son wants to contact her/ her family. Any help? Thanks - Chris
