When you get a chance, could you please update my DS's age on our FE to read 1 (he'll be 22 months but right now it says 22 which would imply 22 years).

Can't believe how much we are looking forward to this trip - just have to book our Disney World land portion now!

lol thats funny...I added months..so if someone wanted to buy him something they can know he's a little older than 1...


I was hoping my mom and her husband and step daughter will be able to join us on this cruise but if the price jumped that much hmmm I don't know ...they will let me know after "tax date" lol...

I'm not sure what I'll so as far as hotels yet...last time I stayed at Wakulla Suites...and parked my car at Terminal...that sort of worked out for me..I liked having my car right there and just taking off...but wakulla suites was way too big for just my lil family.

Hi everyone! we just returned today from 7 night western caribbean cruise on the magic and LOVED it! it was our first disney cruise... and while we were onboard we booked for this cruise! we're hoping that ds8 (will be 9 at cruise time) spring vacation falls during this week and we don't have to change it. we'd like to be included in the FE - ds loved coming back to the stateroom and checking our FE. it will be DSRMary, DH, DS9

well its so exciting to think that we will be on the Dream next year....I'm just excited that I will be on the MAGIC this october..like I would've never thought I would have an opportunity to do another cruise and then another cruise..I hope that I am blessed to actually go..you know things can always change but one year from now, lord willing, my kids and I will be on the Dream and celebrating their birthdays..>We are going to disney tomorrow for couple days to celebrate this years bdays...next year we will be celebrating in STYLE!!

One year from today DD(17) and I will be joining you. Can't think of a nicer way to spend her Spring Break together! She loves DCL more than any vacation that we do and we can't wait to sail on the Dream.

Fish extenders exchanges are fun...if you've never done it you have to do it at least once..

so first thing...there is a "fish" ornament outside of your cabin door (I think on the Dream some of them are "seahorses". and supposedly this is where CM attach any memos to you...but we here on the disboards have used that ornament to hang what we call a FISH EXTENDER...its is basically like a hanging organizer (Made of fabric).....some people make them, others buy them on ebay (just search fish extenders), and some get real creative..I saw one on here that a woman, made it out of tshirts...the idea is that it shoudl have pockets so we can put gifts in them

and the gifts can be homemade or just something bought...for instance...I bought alot of things at the Dollar Store for the toddlers/teens in my group on my last cruise..that ranged from Disney Coloring Books, Disney Crayons, Disney Word Searches, Disney Giant Pencils, Disney Pens, disney stickers, disney dry erase boards, disney chalk boards, disney pool toys, disney sand toys. I also bought pirate beads for the adults and I also bought disney tote bags and candy and glow sticks/bracelets...Now this was my first one so I just went CRAZY on gifts...but I wasn't the only one.


Alot of people made the gifts and I thought that was awesome, these were some of the things people made:

Christmas ornaments
custom magnets
soap
picture frames
custom note pads
custom pens
custom cds (disney cruise music)

As some of the stuff was also Pirate related and non Disney related...

So we go to each cabin that is participating and we drop off the gifts...some people do it at the beginning of the cruise some the last night of the cruise...but its really fun to get back to your cabin and find gifts for everyone...

also some people do one gift per cabin and some people do one gift per person, and some splurge more on the kiddies in the group (my kids got alot of things!!)...its TOTALLY up to you...

no matter what you give it is always APPRECIATED!!!!

We just got off the Dream (4/3-4/7) and rebooked this cruise while on board.This will be our 3rd cruise....and I am so thrilled it will be a double dip to Castaway Cay. I travel with my mom (Shay) and 2 kids (DD15, will be turning 16 the day after this cruise ends) and DS12. My husband spent six years in Navy and does not want to get on another boat...but wishes us well on our adventures. We will be in stateroom 7632. We were super spoiled in our stateroom 7690 on this past cruise. The verandah stateroom was at the back of the ship and the views backing into ports was simply amazing. I was up every morning with room service breakfast taking it all in. Another family that we met on our recent cruise also rebooked for this one and we have the countdown going. Will have to work on my countdown ticker when I get settled back into our routine. But I look forward to the next year of dis posts. If anyone has any question about the Dream I will be happy to answer. Mind you I don't know anything about the kids clubs other than the Edge for 11-13 and Vibe for 14-17. Here's to year of DREAMing of our Double dip Cruise.

hey everyone..I updated the list..just when you get some time..check and see I didn't leave anything off.

I am so tired...we were at Animal Kingdome on monday open to close and then yesterday we went to Magic Kingdom open to close...yikes!!

I cannot wait to go next month for my birthday...

I found couple things I want to buy for the cruise:

Black Mickey Glasses (with a ed hardy type look on sides, although I hate ed hardy but those were the only glasses that had something obviously Mickey on it)

and a camera strap..

We also ate at Ohanas and you know thats probably my top 3 restaurant to go to..( breakfast)...

We also ate at the Plaza Finally...not a big deal to me..the cheese steak sandwich was good. the restaurant is small (so now I know why there's never any adr opened)

My kids and I had a blast!!!

We dance with Stitch chip dale goofy pluto most of the time yesterday...finally went on the carousel of progress and finally did the people mover. We also did the speedway attraction..my 3yr old loved it..he always wants to drive..it was a fantastic day yesterday...I however am dead tired...

It is so cold and rainy here lately, I am sooooo looking forward to this vacation. I have to keep thinking of warm sunny beaches to get through these gray dreary days. I hope all is doing well....less than a year to go
