I figured the ship would be jammed packed for this date...the good thing is my kids will be a little older so I can manage things without strollers so won't be so hard to maneuver around the ship and its many cruisers..

Kay, I am not sure what cabin, or for how many you are looking for, but I just looked and there are options for verandah rooms on this cruise. When I priced it I even priced for 3 people including my DS 12. I hope something shows up for you.

I can't even get the date to show up, I go to disneycruise.com, is that the site you saw it on? In fact I don't see the April 1st cruise either, that is the one we are actually booked on.

It's really a timing thing. People can save cruise itineraries without booking for awhile, so you may find availability one minute, and then five minutes later, nothing. Then when someone cancels that saved itinerary, it opens up again.

You just have to keep trying.

Our travel agent always recommends checking 100 days out and on because that's when people start canceling... just before payment is due.

It also depends on the ages of the kids..A week after my husband and I booked in April (2 adults and DS 12) I looked for one of my friends.(2 adults, DS 6 and DD 3..) No luck then and and we looked every day untill last month and she just gave up. Good Luck to you..

Wasn't really sure until today that I wasn't going to cancel. Took my first tour of the Dream online... I'm hooked. There is no way I am canceling this reservation. Can't wait!

So I listened to strega7 and checked online putting only 1 child in instead of 2 and I was able to get on. So now I have to cross my fingers that we can get my daughter onboard. At least we have a reservation at this point. We are Cat. 5c.

Will the list be divided into smaller groups or wil it stay as it is? The only reason I am asking is that with that amount of people it is alot to bring from Toronto by plane. This is our first cruise and first time doing FE, would it be alright to do a family gift rather than one for each person?

yesmylove...we haven't all decided how it was going to be handled..as the list is growing long and I'm sure will grow longer as the year goes by. any ideas? both my last FE and current one for Oct is pretty small so I'm not the one to advise on how we should handle large group...

This is all new to me, so I will leave it up to the more experienced cruisers. I'm still trying to come up with idea's and I still have to make my FE.

I have never participated in a FE before, so I have no idea how big is "too big". As we get closer, I guess we can play it by ear (Mickey ear of course ).

Yea ! I finally remembered what date I booked.. it was so long ago I forgot. Yes we are onboard the dream april 10 2012!
Dh and I will be celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary . I will be celebrating my 40th Birthday and DD will celebrate turning 5 !!!

I am a pro at WDW vacations And a pro at cruising ! This will be our first Disney cruise.
Any suggestions?

IMHO, yes. You never know what delays you will encounter getting off the ship. I know people who have done it, but for me...that's cutting it too close. I'd be a lunatic all morning. LOL

I got our family of 4 on this cruise, it was a lot of watching and waiting but I knew it would happen. Looking forward to this cruise. Also booked a mexican riviera for Feb. so funny, Cabo and Puerto Vallarta is definitely not the Riviera but what ever....

You have us right, we are not participating. No offense to anyone on this. I'm traveling with a 17 year old girl and her "needs" will already max out my airline weight capacity.

Also, I am Cheryl (GreatDaneMom) and DD is Mary. Cabin TBD.
