Approx when do Christmas decorations go up?

I have gone several trips in November, but I cannot seem to remember if it is early Nov-Mid Nov, or end of Nov.

Not all but most will start to go up right after the last Halloween party.. so the beginning of November. The resorts won't be decked out for christmas right away in the beginning but the parks (especially MK) will start to really transform! The tree doesn't go up until close to December I think in MK. But the trees at the other parks are always up when we are there in November.

The main tree at MK doesn't go up until after the taping of the xmas parade.

I doubt garlands across Main Street will be returning this year, due to the height of the new parade vehicles.

Usually the first Christmas party is around Nov 7, so most of MK will be transformed in a week. The resorts usually closer mid Nov will finish their decorating. The tree and garlands across Main St will not go up until after the parade which is taped the first weekend in Dec. the rest of the parks is mid Nov

Hmm I never thought about that. I really like them but they get in the way of castle pictures on Main Street. I wonder what they'll do.

Not the tree, but the garlands across Main Street are always there when we are there in November. We go the 2nd week each year. I think it is just the tree that they wait on until after taping.

Tree goes up the same time as all the other decorations. It first is in Town Square, then they move it for the taping of the x-mas parade.

Not always. It all depends on where Thanksgiving falls. Sometimes there is a weekend in-between.

I'm hoping for them flying in some thinner garland hung higher in the air
to clear the floats.

When are the resort decorations and Gingerbread houses completed. When we were there in 2012, they did the Wilderness Lodge the night before we left (11/12/12) so we woke up to everything decorated but did not have enough time to check out other resorts. This time, we are there until the 18th, so I am hoping there will be a chance to check out the gingerbread houses and/or other resort decorations.
