Appreciating Disney right now

We are staying at a water park resort (which shall remain nameless) near our home. It is a nice place, but I have caught myself so many times thinking about how it doesn't compare to Disney. The customer service is not terrible, just not up to Disney standards. I guess I am spoiled. It makes me not want to go anywhere but Disney! Too bad my next trip isn't for over a year!!!

I understand. I try not to do this at other places but I do as well.

DH and I recently booked a trip to Greece, and amid the many, MANY hours of planning research, we were definitely missing the convenience of the "one stop shopping" you experience by planning a Disney trip!

I hear ya. Every once and a while we save a little and do Williamsburg Va and the parks there instead of the taking everyone to disney. It is only a 5 hour ride no flights or 16 hour ride. We have a great time but on the way home someone always comments that really was not at all like Disney. We really do not save that much and our next theme park trip is always Disney. There are tons of places to go and have fun family memories but if you are a Disney person only Disney, hard to put into word here, feels like Disney.

I get you! I hate visiting theme parks in the UK now because they suffer in comparison. Especially the efficiency of loading rides... Disney has got that down!
