I've read many times that your work experience doesn't necessarily affect your chances of getting into the CP, but I was wondering if anyone on here has actually gotten in with little to no experience. I have very little work experience, though I'm currently looking for a part-time job or volunteer work before applications for Spring 2013 go up, so I suppose I just want some reassurance!

I was. My first CP was my first job ever

WDW likes to hire and train you so if that is who your talking about yes you have good chance of getting in and they also have a college program you can then start if interested when working there.

No worries! I was accepted for the Fall 2012 semester in attractions, and I have no work experience whatsoever. I just have a lot of volunteer hours from participating in a community theater in my town. Volunteer hours would do you good to have, just so your resume isn't completely bare, you know?

Several people in my area had no prior work experience before starting with Disney and they are all doing fine.

No worries! Prior to my CP that I just completed, my work experience was limited to baby-sitting/pet-sitting, and two work-study jobs on campus (working in the library and Admissions office).
