So after much thought and deliberation I have decided to apply for the Epcot International Program again. I tried once in 2004 and was turned down, again in 2006 and was put on the call list (so i was offered spots of people who quit/got fired/ etc.) So this time I am hoping to land a full 1 year contract.

I know it's not great pay etc, but I would LOVE to work at WDW. I would seriously scrub toilets all day singing the happy working song if it meant I was a CM. But I am aware of the program etc so I know I won't be doing that lol.

I really hope it works out this time and just wanted to share it with all of you since I am not telling anyone here, other than my hag and family. I don't want to get the "turned down again" look from people if it doesn't happen.

Wish Me Luck!!!!

UPDATE

I did apply and found out that there is a new selection process etc. no big deal really. But here's the thing. I had a meeting at work and my boss and I talked nad I am not getting fired in fact he wants to teach me more stuff so i can move up the chain to the next management spot so when the dept manager leaves i get his job etc. So kinda nice to be reassured. And today i found out from my Disney Vacation Planner boss that I can register for the Agent Education Program in March which includes a 3 night Disney cruise!! All for like $400!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!

Things are kinda looking up :wizard:

You'd get to wear that hot flannel & shorts with boots! :woohoo:

I used to love working the old Balzac cart that was near the McDonalds fry stand, since all the UK and Canada CM's would walk by all day :lovestruc

I know the feeling about wanting to be a CM!!! I hope you land that one year contract. :woohoo: Make sure you keep us up to date.

GOOD LUCK! Working at Canada would be fun, has to be one of my favorite movies at Epcot!

(plus all the International CMs get the apartments with laundry in the units already... :thumbsup2 )

Flannel? In Florida? Oy!
If they want the CMs to go for the lumberjack look, can't they just wear jeans, suspenders and no shirt?

:wizard: Good Luck! Hope you get it! If you do, we'll come and see you - we eat at LeCelier at least once per trip. :thumbsup2
