Apply credits to tips?

Hi Y'all,
I believe we can charge the end-of-cruise tips to our stateroom (yes?)...does anyone know if, therefore, we can apply our ship credits to the tips (i.e., apply credits to anything on our bill at the end of the cruise)?

I ask because I should have a good amount of credits (have 2 rooms), but will probably book REAS in advance, and can't use credits for REAS (have to pay in advance) - so the major stuff i'd use credits for I will have already paid in advance.

The credits are on your stateroom account. You charge your tips to your stateroom account, so if you have enough credit in your acount, you won't have to pay any additional when you leave the ship.

Yes the AAA onboard credit you get can be applied to your tip total. Of course your tips for 5 people will be higher than your AAA credit so you may have to add to it. I also doubt that you can go 7 days without spending a penny extra. LOL Especially with 3 kids

I am looking forward to the shipboard credit from AAA. It is going to pay of DD and I to go parasailing. WooHoo! I love saving $$$.

Or we could use it to pay for our picture package, which will be $150.

Or pay off our bar tab with it.

Gee so many choices

As far as tips go, we are planning on having them already separated into envelopes before we even leave home. Then we can put them into the safe in our room and will just have to add the "extras" at the end of our trip before we distribute them. I am going to be picking up some phone cards from Sam's to give to the club CM's, and some other exceptional non tipped staff members. And if things go like last year, we will be adding extra $$ to our servers envelopes.

We plan on printing up those wonderful CM appreciation cards and putting the little tip envelopes inside of them and probably letting the kids hand them to the servers and CM's.
