When we first moved to Florida, my kids were only 3 and 5, and they could sit mesmerized by that infomercial! It's a family joke now - We Love Appliances!

Oh my goodness!! That lady is annoying. We have someone similar in NC. The company is Southeastern Furniture. The man uses his daughter to try and sell furniture. I will see if I can catch the commercial on TV. But honestly, this lady has him beat.

It's probably because it's so different to anything we get here in the UK.

That's the thing! We don't get those kind of adverts here, so I am just mesmerised by them! No one would buy in the UK with those kind of adverts, ours are (usually) much more subtle. Plus since we don't really have regional TV advertising, most advertising is country wide.

From my September trip to the world I can remember 'A Princess of a price, Bob Dance... where everybody rides!' being an on running joke, plus the ped egg adverts literally made us roll over laughing (which we do have here in the UK, but our family call them foot cheese gratters )
