Weird question I know, but has anyone noticed applesauce on the menu at any counter service places in the parks? Or the snack carts?

My elderly mother is coming with us in December and has a swallowing problem. She eats applesauce with all her meals to help the food go down. We can certainly bring our own individual cups like we do other places, I just figured if it was widely available, it would be one less thing to schlep around the parks. Thanks! :)

Off the top of my head I want to say Cosmic Ray's and Toy Story Pizza Planet for sure. Definitely check the kids menus on Allears.

I think applesauce is an option with every single kids meal everywhere in the World. Applesauce, grapes or baby carrots always seem to be the kids CS side options. I am sure you will have no problem finding it. It is unsweetened (if it makes a difference to you).

It's pretty much everywhere.
It is one of the options on the kid's menus at many many counter-service locations...not to worry. And you may be able to get it as a substitute for another side item on an adult menu (might as well ask).
There are also other soft food choices like pudding, jello, fruit smoothies, ice cream, juice, yogurt, whole fruit popsicles, soup available at pretty much every dining location.

Some snack carts list applesauce out at a side item and have it priced at $1.29.

Here is a menu list from pretty much everywhere so you can double check. If you don't see it on a menu...just ask a cast member.

have a wonderful trip...hope this helps.

Great! Thank you all so much! I knew for sure it would be available at the POP food court, but wasn't sure about the parks. Haven't had a "little one" in so long I haven't paid attention to options like that.

Yay! One less thing to tote around! :woohoo:

Just so you know it's natural applesauce, no sugar added. Is your mother used to that kind? If not or in doubt I'd bring your own.

My son had it quite often as a side dish. He has food allergies and even if it was not on the menu they would find some for him. Go to the disabilities board and there you can find some extra help. Note all of your dining reservations and they can have it available for her. At the Hoop Dee Do Review they even made him apple sauce from apples!
