Just curious, anyone used Apple TV in the villas? Hubby & sons are hockey nuts. Thanks!

I really doubt the Wi-Fi would support streaming.

Speed is so slow/inconsistent at BWV that I am having trouble posting on the DIS!

We travel with our Apple TV all the time. On our last trip (stayed at Boardwalk for part and Beach for most of it), we hooked the apple tv up to the computer and streamed from Hulu and Netflix. We were in the Garden Cottages (so outer building at Boardwalk) and the streaming would stall. Once we moved to BCV, no problems with streaming. I'd say its worth taking it and seeing how it works.

We have had mixed results using a Roku which is similar to an Apple TV. We were never able to hook up the Roku with the wifi properly at our last stay at SSR. Previously we never had problems when we brought an old phone and an HDMI cable to watch Netflix. The wifi has been just fine for us at OKW and AKV in the past. As previously stated, totally worth bringing your Apple TV to see if it will work.

If you've got enough data on your cell plan you're better off streaming to your cell phone and then airplay that to the apple TV. WiFi has been terrible there in my experience, but I've gotten good LTE signal on both Sprint and AT&T.

Bring it. If you have problems connecting directly, use your cell phone as a bridge where you've authenticated. Your cell should be on their wifi. A Mac could also work as a bridge. Windows7 is more difficult.
