Apple incentive this year?

Has anyone heard if Apple is going to offer the free iPod with the purchase of a Mac? I know it usually is offered around this time of year. DD graduates HS next week and we are getting her the MacBook as her gift. Thanks!

I am actually surprised it hasn't been announced yet. In past years it has started as early as late May.

I haven't heard about the Apple offer yet!

The rumor is that it will be announced on June 6 as part of the keynote at WWDC. There is also a rumor that it will include the option of getting a $200 credit on the iPad 2 as another option to getting a free iPod. -- Suzanne

Rumor has it that the back-to-school incentive will be announced at WWDC (Apple's annual convention). The dates for the convention are June 6 - 10.

How about just a $200 Apple credit for a future purchase? I have an ipad 2 and an ipod touch, but could really use some speakers and a wireless keyboard.
