Anybody have a recipe for either of these. I have a recipe/ingredients I thought I found somewhere on here but I don't have the actual cooking and assembling instructions.

Thank you

1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped, pared apple
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1) Sift flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon onto wax paper.
2) Melt butter, remove from heat. Beat in sugars, egg and vanilla with wooden spoon until smooth.
3) Stir in flour mixture, apple and walnuts until thoroughly combined. Spread into a greased 8x8x2-inch pan.
4) Bake at 350F for 30 minutes, or until top springs back when lightly pressed. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into squares.

I usually use about 1 cup apple. This is great served warm with vanilla ice cream also!
