I am on the DDP and we are going to Le Celier. I don't have a sweet tooth and would rather have an app. Is that an option?

If your value out of the dining plan assumes non-standard substitutions to get value, you're better off not getting the dining plan.

It is extremely unlikely, outside the exceptions noted above, for a restaurant to allow a sub for the dessert.

You will not be able to choose an appetizer from the menu. Some TS restaurants will offer a substitution that they have decided upon in advance. Typically it is a small side salad, a cup of soup or an additional veggie. If there's a cheese plate listed on the dessert menu you might be able to get that or fresh fruit. Not all restaurants participate so you will have to ask at each place.
