Counter Service (quick service) dining plan meals include a drink, an entrée (or combo) and a dessert.

You don't get an appetizer or a "side". Most CS meals are combos which include a side such as fries but if you order an entrée that doesn't come with a side you're not entitled to a side.

CS meals don't list items as "entrees," so pretty much anything that isn't obviously a side dish (fries, chips, fruit cup, side salad, cup of soup, etc.) or a dessert (cake, ice cream, brownies, mickey krispies, etc.) is considered an entree. In other words, the usual lunch or dinner foods--burgers, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, chicken and "big" salads.

When we ate at the Mara I ordered a sandwhich and since it did not come with a side I was allowed to order any one side item (mashed potatoes, fries, veggies, etc) with it.
