For some reason, I had hoped these terrorists would not murder a woman. But, she might be more terrified than a man at all they do to her and they might even enjoy the experience more. I have more of an opinion but I don't think I should express it.

Good Lord, I didn't know she was against the war--did her murderers know that? Why on earth did they target her? Just a random lady to murder? I can't see how the fact that we started the war (rightly or wrongly) in any way lessens the vile guilt of the people who kidnapped and murdered an innocent woman.

Just shows that these people (and I use the term lightly) have no regard for any form of human life. This woman was there for 30 years, she is both a British and Iraqi citizen. All she was trying to do was help the country and make things better. Just shows again that they will stop at nothing and they don't care who you are or why you are they.

al Queda started this war. We did not.

"We" did start a war with Iraq. That doesn't give anyone the right to kill an innocent aid worker.

If "they" are the individuals who murdered this woman, I agree, they deserve swift and sure punishment.

I almost threw up when I saw the headline on Yahoo' home page. It's so so sad that there are actually such evil beings on this planet who have absolutely no regard whatsoever for human life that they can cowardly take the life of an innocent, kind, generous citizen of Iraq who has done nothing but good for Iraq and who was married to a fellow Iraqi. Sick sick sick.

I hope and pray they pay dearly for what they've done and very very soon.

al Qaida has gained a stronghold in Iraq because of our actions in that country -- so much for the war on terrorism. if we had not created chaos in Iraq, they'd still he hiding in the hills of Afghanistan.

That reminds me of Amy Biehl, a Stanford student who was working in South Africa. She was stabbed to death in South Africa, just before the end of official apartheid, in a last-minute rampage against whites. She was with black friends and had been working very hard to help blacks obtain equality.

So very, very sad.
