App help with Samsung S5

I recently upgraded my phone and got a Samsung S5. I had a razr Maxx and used the app all the time with no problems. With my new phone tho I'M having some issues. First, it appears it won't remember my login data. I log in and it says I have successfully logged in but then when I go out and back in again I get an error message "wrong log in 1 out of 5 attempts". Second, I am unable to see all the icons at the bottom of the screen. Luckily I have them memorized from before. Third, I have no menu button so am unable to reply to a thread unless I quote someone. I also can't start a new thread or refresh.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this. I am using the regular site now but the app really was quite handy and I'D like to be able to use it.

These are all issues that are ongoing. Unfortunately as posted in another thread, the DISBoard app is run by an outside company and they have no control over it here. I have the same issue with the S3 as does my wife. I suggested that they look into having the forums become compatible with an app called Tapatalk but I don't know if they are considering it or not.

I was just about to post a thread about this. Just got my galaxy s5 after being an iPhone user for the past 3 years, and I never had a problem with this app. Anyone have any new insight to this?

There really is no new insight. As been said by the CM's before, the developer of the app sold it to another company that seems to have no interest in fixing it. The standard internet browser in the S5 works fine on the site, it's what i'm using now. The only options really for viewing through an app is to either the disboards pay to make the site tapatalk compatible, or hire someone to develop an all new app.
