Actually I am reading the partial draft of Midnight Sun to get Edward's perspective. http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/pdf/midnightsun_partialdraft3.pdf It is interesting to get both sides of the love story. :love:

Just got back from Twilight!

My sister saved DH from having to see it. She doesn't get "no kids" time much so I think she was desperate to get out of the house and would see anything...she's never read the books, but was a willing partner anyway! I think she enjoyed the story overall, but the angst was a bit much...LOL

While I enjoyed seeing it come to life, there was an awful lot of angst! :rotfl:

But Edward was hot, hot, hot!!

Twilight was filmed in my neck of the woods and a lot of the extras were kids from the local high schools. I was working at our school bookfair last Tuesday and struck up a conversation with one of the other volunteers -- her husband is the author's cousin. They haven't been able to see her for months now because the books have become so popular that she is never home.

I'm so trying to get in to New Moon and the relationship with Bella and Jacob, but I can't let go of Edward!!!! It's not working...lol :rotfl:

I finished New Moon last night and I had to look at the end of the book to make sure Edward is mentioned since he is gone for most of the book. I like Jacob but I don't feel any connection with him. It almost feels like New Moon is just a vehicle to get to Eclipse. Maybe I just missed Edward. :rolleyes1

Stephanie has posted on her website, I believe under NM FAQ, that she requests new readers to read NM twice - for just this reason. Everyone is so concerned about what happens to Edward, they just pass right over the relationship that develops with Jacob. Trust me, I won't give the ending away, but Edward does come back and all is good (well, as good as it can be in Forks with vampires and, um, just vegetarian vampires :rolleyes1

Don't worry he comes back... Keep reading... Midnight Sun is amazing, so when you are done go read that or what you can read of it.
