Apologies for my absence

DW is completely hooked on the books. She bought the first one - currently reading as I post even! - and hasn't put it down since she got it. I am sure the next three won't be Christmas presents from me - she'll have them bought and read before Thanksgiving!!

Nope, I can pretty much guarantee no nightmares.

Daydreams and fantasies, however, are a completely different story! :rotfl:

I agree it also bring up good memories of when my DBF has been romantic or protective of me!!!!

You should try reading them too! My guy loves them, we are totally obsessing together. But he does confess to liking Bella, Alice and Rosalie more than Edward. And that´s great, then I don´t have to share Edward with anybody (except millions of other girls):rotfl2:

But don´t be fooled that just girls like these book, I mean check out Twilightguy.com

My DD14 has read all of these books, she is a bit obsessed.

I feel bad for her though, the movie release date was changed to the day after we leave for florida. Her friends are all going to see it and we will be gone. We told her BFF that she has to promise to see it again with DD and not tell her anything about it until they go see it. If we get a rainy day I may send her to see it while we are in Disney, but I hope we are having too much fun and too nice of weather to be thinking about it.

I look at the size of those books and wonder if I could ever finish them and she finishes them in days.

I started reading this back in August just before the last in the series came out. I adore them! I am currently re-reading the first one and have advanced tix for Friday's movie release!

I just finished the third book and am off to buy the fourth!!!!! LOVE THESE BOOKS!!!!

I'm just finishing up the first book!! Holy crap!!! I've still got a little bit to go, but I think the major action is done...I think...

I will be starting the second book either tonight or tomorrow!

DH has been informed that he WILL be taking me to see Twilight this weekend. He has no choice! :thumbsup2

Hey...have any of you seen the first few chapters of Midnight Sun posted on Stephenie Meyer's website? I guess she was working on a version of Twilight from Edward's (:lovestruc ) perspective and the manuscript was leaked so she stopped working on it. But there are about 264 pages of it posted as a pdf on her website!!

Well I bought my copy today - hope it is as good as you say ladies ;)

I read it - Next time, I think I'm going to read it chapter-by-chapter at the same time as Twilight. I really hope she picks it back up someday. Apparently, one of the deleted scenes on the Twilight DVD will be from Midnight Sun, but Catherine Hardwicke won't say which scene it is.

I have! I absolutely love hearing things from Edward's perspective. I really hope she finishes it (one of my pieces of flair on Facebook even says "Stephenie Meyer - please keep working on Midnight Sun" :teeth:

That little bit of Midnight Sun is really giving me a good perspective on how poor Edward felt when Bella first arrived...I haven't made it passed the 2nd day in Biology yet. Anxious to read more!

Midnight Sun was really amazing! It felt a little more adult then the rest of the series, but I guess that´s because Edward is really old, LOL!

So anybody checking out the movie tomorrow? Got my ticket already, yeay!

Loved the first book! Now I just need to get motivated to read the second...

We'll go and see the movie sometime this weekend...just not sure what showing. All depends on DH's homework! :)

Boyfriend and me saw the movie last night and we are both totally speechless! Of course, we both are already superfans, but I just don´t know how to describe something that was just perfect in every way! Surely I can nitpick somethings here and there but for the movie overall, just perfect!

It´s gonna be weekly revisits to the movies for us! At least until the DVD comes out!:rotfl2:

Just finished Twilight - started reading it yesterday. A book I would never have picked off the shelf myself - WOW

I picked up the next one in town today :goodvibes

I finished it! I've never read a book that quickly in my life!
And you guys were right! No nightmares at all; but...daydreams, yes!!!!

Loved it!

Thanks for making me brave enough to read it!
