Which airline gets the details? Does it matter? Do I do it on both sites?

I have flight locator references for both airlines and can access my booking on either page but both are asking for API details and not sure if it matters which one I use.

Do it with the airline you're booked with to be on the safe side.
But it doesn't really matter as API information should be added to your reservation file (confirmation number, which is shared by both airlines)

Worst case scenario API does not go through and the agent at the desk will need to enter the info at that time, but it will take more time (you should also be able to do API during OLCI, you'll be required to provide the API info at that time if you haven't already done so, tbh that's what I always do)

Thanks. I've been forewarned that I will not be able to do online check in and will be 'booted out' of the process when I try so I thought it would probably save time at the check in desk. Not sure I'd book a code share again unless i got a really good prices because it is just more of a faff to get anything done. Thanks for the info. I will start with the one I booked with and then see if I can do both. :thumbsup2

Just an update: I entered my details on the one site and went to the next to add them and they had updated automatically. Problem solved :)
