APH rates are available for Sept through November. Not seeing any the last week in November though.

Sadly for me, HRH APH saves me about $50. Not enough to cover the cost of the AP upgrade. We are considering switching to RPR.

i'm only saving $25.66 for my 11 day stay.........

ap rates weren't what i thought they would be for my october stay.

for those booking standard rooms, the ap rates will be good for you!

I thanked you in the date/rate thread, but thanks again!

Sure, the savings is about $66 for me, but on the other hand, the AP rate "counts" for the YouFirst program, and the Stay More Save More doesn't. So it benefits us in that way, too. And maybe it'll come down more; it actually only came down for 2 of our nights. The other two nights equaled a whopping 40 cents difference, LOL.

No APH rates available for my early November RPR stay :(

Are you sure? I noticed that "Sorry, we do not have any room available with this promotion for some or all the days you have specified. Please try alternative dates or select one of our regular rooms listed below." still comes up, but there ARE rates. I don't really know what they are talking about with that warning.

I just checked Nov 1-4, then 4-7, now 1-7, and there are APH rates.

Oh, but if you're running into Veteran's Day, that would be a problem. Except that when I just extended a stay from the 7th to the 13th, AP rates showed back up where they weren't for the 7th to the 11th. :headache:

Be sure to go here to check things out, because that site shows all the hotels at once if you choose that as an option in the dropdown. Looking just now I saw HRH and PBR for quite a bit lower than what was available at RPR, for instance. (probably a room difference)

And check back often!

SMSM rate counted last year towards youfirst.

Whenever I look at my account, it shows SMSM as specifically NOT counting towards it. As the rep changed my reservation today, I refreshed that page and it went from not counting to counting. So that's weird if it counted for you! Or it's weird that it didn't for me. :)

twice it counted for me.

i know some say it does not count for smsm, but i remember reading on the darkside others received the loews credit also.

it gets very confusing for newbies that read what is allowed and what isn't counted towards the YouFirst program.

i go with whatever code works out best for me.

i'm still at platinum and do over 10 dates a year for loews stays.
the perks of the loyalty program are nice.

btw, i saw you will be at the darkside during the same time period i am.

pencil me in for a meet and greet.........

that message means there are some dates you want that are not available, as in meaning, they don't have the rooms.

it took me quite a few weeks to get my entire reservation booked.
i had 4 different ressies for a 9 night in a row period.
then one of the unavailable nights came open and i called to book it so i could extend my stay.

each time prior, i would check the website and get that message, some of your dates are not available with this promotion....

The TM told me when i called to add night #10, the message meant no rooms available for one or more dates for the period i had requested.

now i am trying to add night #11.......
still get the above message you listed......

btw, i now have consolidated all my 4 ressies into 1..

I'm looking for 11/5 - 11/10. I only see availability for the first couple of nights. And that's just not enough to justify getting an annual pass for me. I want to stay at RPR, but I see APH rates for both of the other hotels for that entire time period. Tempting.... (Why would there be availability at the other hotels? They're not as booked up yet?)

I got that message too, but I believe it's because Friday night is not available with the discount. For me it's only worth it if I switch from HRH (DH's first choice) to RPR.

maybe a convention (s) will be happening at rph for that time period?

rph has many conventions held at their site.

just a thought.

Its actually $20.00 higher for me to switch from smsm to aph, be keeping what I got.

On my Loews account page , my 7 night stay in Oct is not a qualifying stay.(smsm)
As my stay a couple of weeks ago using the pin code .

looks like the smsm won't be qualifying this year then.
if you saw it on your log in site, it's not gonna happen anymore.

thanks for sharing!

I saw that! Keishashadow, too, I believe. It would be fun to put a face to a username, that's for sure!

Now that I think about it, SMSM has never shown in my "future reservation" area to be a qualifying rate, but at the end of the stay, we've magically gotten credit for the stay. I think you're right, even though the website shows it as non-qualifying.

Oh ew! Had a car dealership convention at HRH in Feb, I don't want another convention! Unless I'm invited, of course. :)

Always good to make SURE of your discounts! :goodvibes

Interesting...

For my one night stay at RPH the AP discount was about $5 cheaper than my Comcast Employee Rate. It's not much, but It's an extra drink during HHN!

;)

I like the way you think. :) I was imagining the booze for our saved $66....though that might be more than my entire booze budget for the whole trip. (DH doesn't drink) Maybe it'll be our Butterbeer budget instead.

I'm just going to come out and say it. Annual Pass rates this year stink.
4 nights is but 16 dollars less then the SMSM rate. The kicker is that I would have to upgrade my room to a water view in order to get that rate. So don't want that.

That's so weird that the AP rates are not so good considering the amazing PIN code deals that have been out recently.

Thanks for posting this! Although my Friday night stay increased by $14 under the APH rate vs. the SMSM rate, the rest of the weeknight savings with the APH rate netted me a $71 savings. That's going in the HHN tickets fund.:goodvibes
