Last year (Feb) I was able to get a room at Royal Pacific for around $126 night using my APH rate. I got a slightly higher rate in the summer and in December at Portofino. I've been trying to reserve a room at RP again the first week of Feb., but no APH rates are available. I noticed on the "Rates and Dates" thread no one has listed APH rates.

Since my trip is about 60 days out, the APH rates should have been made available based on my past experience. I ended up booking under AAA rate for $192.60 (a 10% discount from the website rate). I also called reservations and told APH was not available and they didn't know when or if it would be.

Has anyone else had issues with APH rates next year? Thanks.

from what I gather from the board is alot have said there was no rates for aph for feb and its probably due to they already sold out for those rates or could be they have some covention going on but I may be wrong but I have heard of people booking rates and when aph or aaa comes out they switch to those rates.

I am watching too. We leave the end of January and haven't seen any yet. I'll be watching for late April too.

APH rates are now available for my travel dates in early Feb. at RPR. They are not available at the other resorts. The APH rate is the same as the AAA rate- $193 a night. I paid $126 last year at the same time. Maybe they'll go down.

On UniversalOrlando.com yesterday I was able to pull up HRH garden view for 159.00 (2/5 - 2/7). I used the link included on the annual pass information page.

So, I actually called the number listed on the reservation form pop up to ask if there was anything for PFB at the same time, to which she replied, "no". Along with that I mentioned the 159.00 and she kept saying she couldn't find it. However, once I filled in the form and hit the button it was available and I have a print out and a confirmation number.

Thanks for the heads-up. I called and they said no APH rates were available in their system, nor were they available online. I told the lady that I was looking on my computer at the APH rates right then, but I don't think she believed me. So I cancelled my room with her and did it all online. I got my confirmation number and printout (and cancellation number).

My rack rate dropped from $214 to AAA of $193 to APH of $134.
The AP really does pay for itself.
