APH rate check in

Hello,
It has been a couple of years since our last trip and I'm wondering if the process to check in with the APH rate at the PB has changed.

When we did this last time we checked in and then picked up our passes. Then sometime during our stay we stopped by the desk to show them the pass.

Is the process the same now?
