APH discounts?

Is there a thread going for hotel APH discounts? I'm starting early planning for April 2006 and do not see an APH discounts on the website. Do they usually come out around a certain time?

There is a thread date & rate 2005 ,but to answer your question the aph rates usally come down the closer you get to your dates ,for instance in august all I could get was 202.00 aph for rpr I kept on checking and finally got 159.00 (this was for oct 9th-14th).

Yep, keep watching because they are always changing. I booked the HRH for October 27 a month ago @ $179.00 but noticed today they are down to $159.00. Of course, the nice thing is, you can always book a room early to guarantee a spot and change the rate as you get closer. We always get a better rate the closer it gets.

One good thing about Universal is you don't have to use the passholder's Web Site (which doesn't work alot of the time) to get the APH rate. It is available through the regualr site.

I'm also looking for the AP rates for the end of April and end of May. I haven't been able to get into the AP site. Has anyone tried lately? Maybe I'm entering something wrong.

I don't even know the AP site? Do you have to have an activated AP to access it? I'm not activating mine until Jan.

I always call the number on the back of my pass--1 800 232 7827 and ask for the AP rate. I called about an hour ago for my dates in July and was told the AP rates are not out yet--confirmed at the AAA rate and will keep trying for a better rate.

The Ap site is located on the www.usf.com main page. Just scroll down to the bottom right and click on AP. You have to enter your AP number and pin off of the back of your card. I couldn't get mine to work so I called. They said they are having problems with the site, so don't be surprised if you can't log on.

I'm looking for AP rates for May 2006, or April 2006. I'm really torn between April 20-April 30 or May 20 to May 30.
I heard that Grad nights fall in April, that is making me lean towards May. But, I'll have no chance of seeing Mardi Gras in May. So that is a big drawback. The prices in May should be better, but the parks may close early...I"M SO CONFUSED!!!
