APH buy 1 meal deal get 1 50% off

When the dining program first began, there was a list of places and food items included

Not sure if any of that has changed

On the website, there is a list of places, but not of the food that is available. I've looked for someplace with that info but can't find anything.

With that being the case, op could send an email to guest services for info confirmation of avaiable foods

Just to reconfirmed, we got the deal at Three Broomsticks. We got 2 plates of ribs. Then 2 ice creams later that day. We used the drink credits the following day.

Snack wise, from what I can see you can have pretty much any snack under $5 not including the souvenir items such as the popcorn bucket etc. Or for a small meal, I had chilli cheese fries as my side option today.

The big pink donut is a popular snack and can feed a family of four!

Ok we definitely plan on eating at the 3broom sticks so I reckon if we get two dining plans and pay oop for two meals that my youngest kids will eat that will work best,
( unless I have to buy for the whole family?)
As they eat far too little to justify a dining plan.

Not sure if I understand your question but you don't need to use the plan for the whole family. When you purchase the "Buy one get one half price", they give you 2 cards, each card has 1 quick service meal with drink, 1 snack, 1 additional drink. You use what you want when you want. It obviously makes more financial sense to get the higher price items which is why we got 2 rib meals and shared them between 4 people which was sufficient for our family. We kept the snacks for Butterbeer and ice cream which are high cost items.

If I had little kids, I would just buy them something off the kids menu and save the second meal for the adults for the next day.

On the passholder page it specifies that it's the quick Service plan. Who knows though it also says you have to use them the same day they are purchased.
I really need to remember to take advantage of this.

†††Offer is available to Universal Orlando Annual Passholders from August 19 – September 30, 2016. Offer valid for in-park purchase(s) only when purchasing a Universal Dining Plan – Quick Service with presentation of a valid Annual Pass. Purchase at all Quick Service in-park locations. Limit two (2) offer redemptions per day [two full-price Dining Plan Combo(s) and two ½ price Dining Plan Combo(s)]. Discount will apply to Dining Plan Combo of equal or lesser value. If purchasing two (2) Dining Plan Combo(s), both Dining Plan Combo(s) must be purchased and used on the same day during normal theme park operating hours. This offer cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion, discount or prior purchase.

**Edit, just realized QS has a drink and no drink option. For whatever reason I was thinking the drink came with the upper sit down plan.. not sure why. That doesn't make much sense... carry on.:music:

Ploughman's isn't included---it's a meal for two people.

Ploughmans is included. You can get it for one. We did it twice over this past weekend.

Also- all entrees, snacks, etc are allowed to be used over 14 days- don't have to use day of.

Lastly, orange fiz and the green boba tea count as snacks now, similar to butterbeer (not a "drink" credit)

Ooh! Good to know! Someone said the price of the Ploughman for 1 was $9.99 (June 2015), do you know what the price is now? We really enjoyed it when we were there.

Thanks for the update - that seems like a very good deal since that is a $20 meal- would you say it is actually big enough for two or did you ned to split something else?

When I purchsed two dining plans with the 50% discount on the second one, I asked the cast member if all the credits had to be used the same day and if they expired. She said they do not expire and you do not have to use them the same day. I hope she was right, as we have 3 drinks left between the two cards! On the website it says nothing about having to use the plan within 14 days.

The Ploughman for 1 is not the same as the Ploughman for 2 which is $19.99. I've read that it is half the price, so not necessarily a very good deal. Hopefully Andysol will know what the going price was.

thanks - when he said for one I assumed he meant one credit - I did not know they offered it for one - for 9.99 Ill need to check that out

Ya- it's for the half serving (service for one). I think it was 10.49 if I remember correctly. It's exactly half what the regular ploughmans is.
My wife loved it- those boards aren't my thing.

The credits don't expire (or its 14 days from purchase). I loaded up with 9 bottled waters/Cokes and 3 giant pink donuts on my last day.

The kids deal is also a really good one if you feel like you'll do a lot of snacks (or even just want a kids meal). The $6.99 half price is a butterbeer itself- that's before the drink/meal. I saved a solid $80 or so with the meal deal (did 4 adults and 4 kids over the 3 days there)

Did the meal deal 3x last week (4 adults, 2 kids) - it's a no brainer if you like the more expensive snacks and the bottled drinks. We saved between $40-$65/day each day we got it. Pretty much every extra beverage and snack was free after we got the counter service meal with beverage we wanted. Saved our backs from carrying lots of beverages and foods...
Favorite snacks - Frozen Butterbeer, Harry Potter Ice Creams in Cup (Butterbeer and Apple Crumble were 2 favorite flavors), Big Pink Donut, Basket of Fries at Krusty Burger, Pastry Shop French Horn

They have kid ones? And they're BOGO too? That's awesome!
