Aperture and Shutter Speed?

I would love to learn how to use my canon a bit more and I know there was a very good thread on using apertureand shutter speed. Any suggestions or links to that thread??

I seriously mean no offense, but you might find more by spelling it correctly. It is aperture, not aperature.

The books by Bryan Peterson are good. The most popular is Understanding Exposure. It is a fairly quick read as well. Others lately have been suggesting The Moment it Clicks, but I do not personally know anything about it or that author.

I second "Understanding Exposure" by Bryan Peterson. Great book with great examples.

canon usa has some great tutorials

Hey, I just stumbled on this b/c I am a fan of DISboards and found this photo forum. I checked out your photoblog and it was helpful to me as well! Thanks so much. I thought I'd upgrade from my Sony Cybershot DSC-1 to a Sony H2 and have had no improvement in my indoor shots so now I am hoping your info will help. Thanks.
