APEE faltering so EMH to DCA every day this summer for Disney hotel guests?

Total bummer. I was hoping it would be extended as I am an out of state AP and would definitely take advantage during our last week in September.

I'm surprised they would eliminate it considering it is an AP benefit that has a great perceived value even if there aren't many people participating. f they have 1000 people reserving and only a few 100 people showing up it seems pretty manageable to include the AP's with the resort guests.

Just tried to sign up for DCA APEE this Sunday but the website is saying it is not available. Saturday is, but not Sunday.

Days that fill up are due to the number of APs that can go. Having deluxes blocked on Saturday makes less busy and unblocked on Sundays and being a weekend makes them much busier. This is why all the first days in the program maxed out, the SoCal APs were not blocked on all but a few days and Delux on none. At the end of the program when APs are again unblocked it will probably be busy again.

They are not eliminating this program. There is no indication of that. The rumor is that with low AP participation they will allow hotel guests into DCA with the APHs.

Arggg! Well, one point for Al. :confused3 Now I'll be behind huge crowds everyday. :worried:
Yeah, I know how you feel, PinkBudgie. My big concern is that since APEE will still include the lining up to get bracelets, by the time we finish that process and get to the line we will be far behind a substantial amount of EMH guest. C'est la vie, we must always remind ourselves that a long wait in Disney is time better spent than free time any where else!

I'm disappointed, too. Not even sure we'll get APEE since we have yet to activate...but still was hoping for a chance at a less crowded opportunity when we go in early August! But, yes, the bottom line is that I am grateful to get to be there at all!!

Ditto both you! I'm still gonna have fun! :thumbsup2

So glad I did APEE last tuesday! we showed up 5 minutes before they opened the gates and I was first in line for single rider on RSR! Those buggers didn't open it till almost 7:30 but it was worth the wait and the nice chat with the cast members. Then we were able to ride Luigis and Mater before the park was open to regular guests. It was the best possible situation.
